Welcome Anna! Many of you may have met our new Catering and Event Sales Manager, Anna Tyler, but we wanted to tell you a little bit about her and what brought her to the Club. Anna is originally from Bend, Oregon. She admits it is a beautiful place but in 2015 she found a deep need to escape the rain and found herself in a place that was arid...Scottsdale. Anna studied sports broadcasting at Oregon State University but soon found herself seeking a change in her career’s path. Anna yearned to find a career that she was passionate about, while transferring most of her TV production skills...and she found herself in event planning! Prior to Troon CC, Anna was the director of a wedding and event venue in the valley. She finds that the most fulfilling part of her job is how rewarding it is to assist in making someone’s dream day or special event come to life and how every day is exciting because it brings something completely new to the table! When Anna isn’t at the Club you can find her spending time with her husband and two dogs named Chloe and Dunk. She enjoys exploring the outdoors and new areas in Arizona, golfing and pool days with good craft beer. She’s also really looking forward to expanding her wine knowledge here at the Club! Anna is excited to be at the Club and is looking forward to bringing more weddings and events to the membership!
REMINDER Our Dress Code is defined as “Country Club Casual”. What does that mean? For women, collared shirts, feminine blouses and sweaters are safe choices that reflect the country club casual style. Sleeveless tops are acceptable, but halter tops, cropped tops and bare midriffs are inappropriate. If you’re uncertain about whether the top is too revealing, wear a light sweater to cover up. When choosing the lower half of your outfit, consider both the length and sharpness of the garment. For men, collared shirts and dress slacks or shorts. Please remind your guests to be aware of our dress code before hosting them at the Club.

/ F I T N E S S The rising temperatures are allowing us to integrate the pool into our fitness programs. Starting in June, jump into our aqua classes that are designed to build cardiovascular fitness and strength. The water is not only cooling, it creates a gentle resistance and is easy on your joints because there is minimal impact. No swim experience is needed and the classes are suitable for every age and fitness level. AQUA FIT Mondays & Wednesdays 7:45am NEW TIME All exercises use bells and noodles. Improvement in strength and aerobic capacity are some of the proven benefits of aqua exercise, with a decreased amount of force on the joints. AQUA ZEN Tuesdays & Thursdays 8:30am In this class you will learn how to stretch, move and enjoy your body in the water, using AQUA BARRE classical yoga Fridays postures. 7:45am This aqua class is influenced by Pilates and barre. We will use the resistance of the water and props to improve strength and flexibility. This class will not be fast moving but concentrating on the core and specific areas like legs and glutes.
