Autumn

Colors

Drive for just an hour – or perhaps a bit longer – to discover these DuBois regional State Parks. You’ll not only experience Autumn in all of its glory, you’ll enjoy camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, biking, horseback riding and more. Most importantly, bring your camera – you’ll want to remember the beautiful colors of a Central Pennsylvania Autumn for a long time to come.*

Moshannon State Forest Located less than 45 minutes from DuBois, Moshannon State Forest boasts an extensive 244-mile hiking trail system perfect for viewing the Fall foliage. The longest trail is the Quehanna, a designated state forest trail traversing Moshannon from Parker Dam to Sinnemahoning. Spend a few hours or a few days exploring this beautiful 75-mile trail that leads you through various areas of both the Moshannon and Elk State Forests. Here, you will pass through some of the most wild and beautiful country that Pennsylvania has to offer. Primitive camping – which means carry in, carry out and leave no trace - is permitted for campers spending no more than one night. Campers do not need a camping permit, though certain exceptions apply. Trails blazed with blue paint are open to mountain biking and horseback riding. Hunting and fishing opportunities are many, as is wildlife viewing on trails, on the Elk Scenic Drive or at an Osprey viewing platform.

Cook Forest State Park The 8,500-acre Cook Forest State Park is less than an hour from downtown DuBois. Once called the “Black Forest,” the area is famous for its stands of old growth forest. Cook Forest’s “Forest Cathedral” offers visitors the opportunity to view towering white pines and hemlocks. The Clarion River meanders through the park and connects it to Clear Creek State Park. The scenic 10-mile stretch of river, popular for canoeing and rafting, provides hours of relaxation. For fishermen and woman, the Clarion is home to trout, warm-water game fish and panfish, all ready to take the bait. Located near the Park office, you’ll find a special fishing pond stocked with trout for use by children aged 12 and younger and people with disabilities. An ADA accessible pier provides access so that everyone can enjoy catching these feisty fish. Hunters will discover that about 7,000 acres are open to hunting, trapping and the training of dogs during established seasons. Common game species are deer, turkey, bear and squirrel.

Come to Life

Perfect for beginners, the river is rated Class C with an average downward ow of four miles per hour. wo canoe trips, four and 0 miles in length, are popular attractions. You can rent canoes from commercial sources outside of the park or bring your own as Clear Creek also offers a public canoe launch.

Vistas offer scenic views of the 1,635-acre Lake with its 26 miles of shoreline, a favorite of anglers and boaters. Campers ock to the large campground to enjoy hiking and other outdoor activities. aried habitats throughout the park make it a wonderful home for many types of wildlife. Bendigo State Park The 100-acre Bendigo State Park can be found 56 minutes away from DuBois in a small valley surrounded by picturesque hills. The forest is predominantly northern hardwoods including beech, birch, cherry and maple. The East Branch of the Clarion River, once polluted by abandoned mine drainage, has been restored and now provides excellent fishing and canoeing opportunities. he Park also provides access to picnic areas where charcoal grills, drinking water, horseshoe pits and restrooms can be found nearby. Each of the Park’s three picnic pavilions may be reserved up to months in advance for a fee. nreserved picnic pavilions are free on a first-come, first-served basis. Pavilion #1 is ADA accessible.

Bucktail State Park Natural Area on’t like to hike but still want to see the gorgeous Fall foliage ucktail tate Park atural rea provides a solution by offering a beautiful 75-mile scenic drive along PA 120 from Emporium to Lock Haven. The scenic drive stretches through a narrow valley which has for years been called the Bucktail Trail. The trail is named after the famous American Civil War regiment of Woodsmen known as the Bucktails or the Bucktail Rangers. The valley is mostly forested land with an occasional small village or isolated farm. This beautiful area has also been called the Bucktail Canyon because of the steep mountains that form breathtaking forested walls along the West Branch of the Susquehanna River and Sinnemahoning Creek. All along the road are unspoiled forest lands, beautiful hills and deep valleys. n the fall, the colors are breath-taking and people drive many miles to attend the Flaming Foliage Festival at enovo in ctober. n the spring, mountain laurel and the fresh green foliage are worth the trip. Visitors should note that most of the land within the “legislative” park boundary is privately owned. Please obtain permission from landowners before entering private property.

Have you heard the BzZzZz on

Bee Pollen The secret is out on the hottest weight loss capsule available! If you haven’t heard the BzZzZ around town, where have you been?? Zi Xiu Tang Bee Pollen Capsules are an all-natural herbal diet supplement that requires NO CHANGE IN DIET AND NO EXERCISE!! Most people are losing 10-20 lbs in one bottle! These pills aren’t available just anywhere. BeeXtreme, LLC has them available online with free shipping* (http://beextreme.webs.com), Monaco “an intimate boutique” (335 West Long Ave. DuBois), Amy Straub’s Hair Salon (Main St. Falls Creek), Sun Spot Tanning and Fitness (Main St. Reynoldsville), and Denise’s Alterations (West Main St. Sykesville). BeeXtreme also delivers to you on Fridays! So how does this product work? And can it really be this easy?? Yes! These pills use a 3 part system to help your body effectively lose weight and keep it off. Part I: Elimination of Fat Through Thermo Genesis: Are you cold ALL THE TIME? This condition could be keeping those pounds right on you! Through the thermo genesis process, your body is heated from the inside out, increasing your metabolism, as well as your ability to sweat. In addition, this allows your body to go into instant metabolic function. If you start sweating more often it means the product is working not to be confused with a hot ash t is important to notice these effects tend to get stronger the longer you are on the product Think of it this way… Did you ever wonder why hibernating animals don’t freeze to death? The answer is thermo genesis.

a t eto ification o the olon an igesti e ystem This product offers total cleansing of the digestive system by utili ing insoluble fiber from all the ingredients, allowing for the product to provide a natural laxative that also removes some toxins and parasites. This process takes place approximately the first two-three weeks you are on the product. Part III: The pH Balancing: One of the biggest misconceptions is that fat is kept on the body due to the fact the body is starving. Now, fat is kept on the body due to the body being very acidic. The more acid your body produces, the more fat your body needs. Why? The body wraps the acid in the fat, and stores it into the body's fat pockets, protecting the body from the harmful effects of the acid. Fat is created for survival. Yet, the body is triggered for fat accumulation once it reaches a certain pH level. To make the body feel differently, this product changes the pH of the body, which does two things. First, the body stops and reverses fat absorption and then changes to fat burning, since it now believes it has too much. The second thing that happens is the increased fat burn rate also increases the metabolic levels of the body, making the metabolism go through the roof!

Weight Loss Capsules?? Energy is no longer an issue ome people notice an increased energy level after the first day of taking this product. y using this product you will benefit from the same effects as those who utili e the pH diet and run around finding all the right foods to fit the diets guidelines. ll you have to do is take two pills in the morning with water, and go about your day! Water is key for the product to work. It is recommended that you consume at least half of your body weight in ounces of water daily. For example, a person weighing 140 lbs should consume at least 70 ounces of water a day. Also this pill works off the fatty processed foods we consume every day. Eating 4-6 small meals a day or “grazing” throughout the day is recommended. Although Zi Xiu Tang Bee Pollen works for about 90% of consumers, there is still that lingering 10% who will not have success with it, whether it be metabolism, health issues, not consuming enough water, or inconsistency with the pills. The good news is NEW YOU launched on July 4, 2013 and ones who are using this pill are also seeing fantastic results!!

What is NEW YOU? New You has been years in the making, containing all natural herbs like Zi Xiu Tang, New You’s main ingredient is Garcinia Cambogia. Through effectively combining traditional Chinese herbs, (old and new) New You is the latest break-through in the all-natural herbal diet supplement world!! New You produces weight loss results in those individuals who have not seen results in other supplements as well as those who had initial weight loss with other products and then stopped losing. New You is Safe, Convenient, and It Works!! Dr. Oz just did a part special on this herb and the benefits of taking it for weight loss and more!!!!!!
