Gilgandra Coo-ee Heritage Centre

Gilgandra Speedway

Relive the story of the original Coo-ee March depicting the journey of 35 men from Gilgandra to Sydney in 1915 marching to attract recruits for service in WW1. The March was estimated to be 300 men strong upon arrival in Sydney. The Coo-ee March Gallery includes artefacts of National significance, including the Union Jack carried by the marchers. 02 6817 8700

100th anniversary of Gilgandra Presbyterian Flower Show 12 October 2018 marks the 100th annual Presbyterian flower show at Gilgandra Shire Hall with market stalls, music, a two course lunch, afternoon tea, and high tea – and an abundance of beautiful blooms!
