2013 VISIONARIES

LETTER FROM DTSF LEADERSHIP What an incredible year 2013 was for our organization! The City of Sioux Falls and Downtown Sioux Falls, Inc. were recognized with an International Downtown Association Merit Award for the Downtown River Greenway Project. The Downtown River Greenway Project has reclaimed our riverfront and transformed a once neglected community asset into a vibrant destination. With a diverse schedule of events and programs like Animals on the Amphitheatre and Downtown Riverfest, we attracted residents and visitors of all ages, races and socioeconomic backgrounds to come together to share in a unique experience. Since 1988, we have been working beside the City of Sioux Falls, our members and partners to collectively pursue the ambitious goals noted in the 2015 Downtown Plan. Together, we have witnessed the power and strength of partnerships, which is evident in the number of development projects underway, the thriving business climate and growing residential population downtown. In the year ahead, I encourage all downtown stakeholders and citizens of Sioux Falls to participate in the 2025 Downtown Plan to help guide the continued growth of our downtown. Thank you for the opportunity to serve as the Chairwoman of Downtown Sioux Falls, Inc. Board of Directors. Our success is made possible through the support of our dedicated volunteers, members, sponsors and partners. We are grateful and thankful for your continued support as we continue our efforts to revitalize the core of our great community.

Sincerely, Paula Brown Board Chair
