APRIL BONUSES Below is an excerpt of message from Jim Menzies at PDD sent to all PDD CEOs: “Some contract amendments are still in process, and once those amendments are in place, agencies will invoice us and the increased funding will flow. However, calls are beginning to come in from agency staff complaining that they have not yet received their increase, even where increased contracts are already in place. I urge you to ensure our side of this process is expedited and runs as smoothly as possible. Based on the process, we expect many agencies to have the funds provided to staff accounts by end of May or mid-June, all retro-active to April 1st. However, there may be a gap in communication with agency staff about timing and what to expect. It is not our place to communicate directly with agency staff, but I wonder if there is a way that we can encourage agencies to communicate with their staff about their own processes and timing to get increased funding into staff hands. Ensuring employees understand the process and their employer’s part in it will help alleviate people’s fear that they have somehow been missed.”
