Handy Hint Holding Small Parts under construction By Rob Davies I needed to build a small bridge. I enjoy scratch building, but little parts can be a real pain to cut and handle. I made a top view drawing of what I wanted to build to the exact scale size, then I put regular scotch tape down on the drawing sticky side up. I then taped the ends down flat. Then I could put the beams down on the tape and secured them so I could glue the cross boards on. I did the same thing with the handrails. After the glue dried, I simply cut the tape away from the plan and peeled it off. For me this idea worked very well. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
