Double Headed Di`s
Da1405 was chosen as it was one of the first Daâ€™s to be written off in 1974. I didnâ€™t want any of the usual low numbered Da`s that ended up as Hump Da`s in TeRapa.
Photo Da1405 Da`s worked through the Karangahake Gorge although in later years were hauled through the gorge dead on route to Tuaranga for log trains in the Bay of Plenty. That makes up my Diesel loco fleet
