In China, 1 in 600 children is born with a cleft lip, cleft palate, perhaps both. Although most clefts can be repaired through proper surgery, many families are unable to afford the cost, and their child grows up facing untold hardships. Operation Smile China Medical Mission Ltd. (OSCMM) is a registered charity in Hong Kong (IR File no. 91/3709). We raise fund in Hong Kong and carry out medical mission in mainland China to provide reconstructive surgery to patient with cleft lip and/or palate at no cost. 微笑行動致力於觸發無數顆慷概的心,以重新換 回全球兒童患者的微笑,並改變其生活。 微笑行動中國基金是一個香港註冊的慈善團體 (IR File no 91/3709). 為中國內地貧困的唇齶 裂患者提供了免費的手術治療。

美國樓市進入拐點

位於歷史低位的貸款利率水平:

縱然美國樓市,未必能四平八穩地直線向上,但最近的 多項數據皆顯示,美國樓市正緩慢復蘇。

目前美國的貸款利率處於歷史超低水平。美國30年期國 債孳息率,跌至約2.5%的低水平,令以此為指標的按揭 息率亦下跌。30年期的房貸按揭息率低於3.5%,是自 1950年以來的低水平,更大幅低於2007年至2008年的6% 至8%。

房屋市場轉趨活躍、庫存量減少、新屋動工數量增加及 美國目前處於歷史低位的貸款利率水平等一系列的跡像 都表明,美國房屋市場已經觸底並開始復蘇。

房屋市場轉趨活躍: 美國商務部公布的今年5月份新屋銷售數字,以年率計達 38.2萬間,創2010年4月以來最佳銷售。雖然6月的數字 有所下降,但相信只是復蘇路上,必經的小障礙。

房價指數升: 5月份,反映美國20大城市房價走勢的標普/CaseShiller房價指數,經季節調整後按月升0.9%,連續第四 個月上升。而未經季節調整的房價指數按月急升2.2%, 兩者同樣好過市場預期。 如按年計,房價指數跌0.7%,跌幅少過預期的1.5%,較4 月的1.8%跌幅亦有所收窄。反映下降的速度正在放緩。

另外,值得留意的是標普建築商指數(S&P Homebuilder Supercomposite index),今年以來升50%,升幅為標普 五百指數的五倍,反映美國的建造業跑贏大市。另外, 由美國4大建築商上半年股價表現亮麗(見圖),可見投 資者對建造業的前景有信心。 最後,全美住宅建築商協會(NAHB),今年7月份的房地產 市場指數(Housing Market Index) 是35,大幅高於預期 的30,數字達五年以來的新高,並創下近十年來最大升 幅,這是樓市已走出陰霾的最新跡象。似乎現時可候機 作Bargain Hunting,買平屋!

To see the interior Feng Shui- Part 2 The sound of attracting evil energy---- , the formation of loud or unpleasant sounds, attracts evil energy. Keeping environment claim should be recommended. Way to resolve: (1) bedroom should be quiet and free from outside noises. (2) Positive areas can produce sounds, negative areas should not have sound produced. (3) Fish tanks emit sounds during operation and should not be placed in the bedroom.

Statues ---- An opened or blessed Statue must not be placed in the bedroom, such as place of sexual intercourse or place of dressing will resulting in disrespectful to the statue, Eg. Buddha statue. Way to resolve: (1) Statue placed in sitting position cannot be backed by the walls of the toilets and bedrooms. (2) Statues placed or sit at the West area or negative areas . (3) Guandistatues (Guandi is the symbol with powerful energy against the bad and the evil) should not be placed face directly at the right East side, for the reason he was killed in the East side of ancient China. This is the respect.

看室內風水‧二 聲煞----聲音導致噪音,形成聲煞,所以盡量不要自 制聲煞。 化解方法: (1)睡房內休息時不可聽到聲音為佳,需要寧靜。 (2)財位吉位可以有聲音發出,五鬼衰位不可以有聲 音發出。 3)大型的魚缸都會有聲音發出,不宜放在房中。 神像----「開光的神像是必須的,不可放置在睡房 內,如房事或更衣,會造成有所不敬。 化解方法: (1)神像坐放之位置不可背靠牆身為廁所和睡房。 (2)一般神像坐放西方或五鬼衰位。 (3)關帝神像如放置在西方面向正東方,請將關帝像 面側向少許,因關帝像被斬於東吳,尊敬而已。

As it is much easier to concentrate for human being in such kind of environment, efficiency of study and working will be much more improved. A study room with certain level of acoustic standard will keep the user from the interference of internal and external noise. Furthermore, the user will hear the response of his own reading voice from the acoustic space, which will enhance the memory. Apart from the internal functional areas, the apartment, as a whole, can be treated from external noise as well. Acoustic consultant will conduct the calculation based on the geometrical data of the space through a computer model. They will work along with the interior designer to decide suitable interior finishes and furniture with acoustic material for achieving the beauty in both acoustics and architecture. In fact, there is a long history of the application of architectural and room acoustics. The ancient Greek temple, European churches in Middle Ages, the Echo Wall in Beijing's Temple of Heaven are the heritages from ancestor of this discipline. Nowadays, Room Acoustics in Home Design is focused on practicability, aesthetics, and environmental protection and so on. Acoustic materials used to be dull in pattern and color. The new acoustic panel introduced from Sweden not only can balance the acoustic field of the space but also has stylish patterns and colors. Integrating acoustic material to the interior finishes in study rooms, living rooms and listening rooms is no longer a headache for interior designers.

Wine & Spirit Here is a good choice for daily drinking!!! All the strength of the Médoc Château Cissac is located right in the heart of the Médoc region. According to legend, one that is borne out by the existence of several ancient remains, the magnificent 18th century charterhouse that is the château Cissac of today was built on the remains of a Roman villa. Today the vineyards are managed by Marie Vialard, a direct descendant of Jacques Mondon who bought the estate in 1895, and Louis Vialard, who restored it to its former glory in the middle of the 20th century.
