board of directors from 2003 to 2006, for which she was awarded director of the year in 2006. Currently, she chairs the Wake Forest Baptist Church wedding guild and co-chairs the WFBC stewardship committee. Holding loves to travel and, in recent years, has visited Peru to see Machu Picchu and also South Africa. This year, she is looking forward to her family’s first trip to Disney World. She is an avid theatergoer, enjoys reading, photography, and, of course, volunteering. “Feeling like I’ve made a difference, whether it’s as a parent, a spouse, or as a community volunteer, brings me great joy,” said Holding.
