Pools at home provide a fun way to spend those warm summer days and are a source of easy entertainment for everyone in the family. 4. Security Systems We all want to feel safe and comfortable in our home. Homes with built-in security systems, especially those that feature smart security systems that allow remote access and video feed, may appeal more to buyers than homes that do not have security systems installed. 5. Add-On Rooms Additional space is always a big draw for home buyers. If you have extra rooms, like a game room, home theatre, or sitting room, be sure to feature these in your listing. 5 TIPS FOR PREPARING TO SELL YOUR HOME IN CENTRAL FLORIDA There can be a lot of emotion that comes with deciding to sell. In order to help make this process a little easier, we’ve compiled a list of five things you should consider when it comes to preparing your home to sell. 1. Look at your home from the buyer’s perspective. Start outside and work your way in. As you do this, make a pro/con list of all the things that you like and dislike about your home. Typically, these will be the things potential buyers will like or not like as well. Take this list and try to highlight the things that you love, making those even more of a reason why someone would want to buy your home. Then look at the cons and determine if there is an easy way to minimize some of the things you don't particularly like about your home. 2. Take care of the honey-do list. Any of those easy-to-fix things that have been sitting on your to-do list should be addressed now. Take a weekend and focus on checking each item off your list, and before you know it, all those repairs will make your house one step closer to being ready to sell. If you aren't sure what should and shouldn't be fixed, consult a knowledgeable REALTOR®— they will be able to help you make the best decisions and ensure you aren't wasting time or money. 3. When people can picture their things in a space, it makes it that much easier to fall in love with it. 5. Work on your curb appeal. Cut the grass, rake the leaves, trim the bushes. These things can make a bigger impact on your curb appeal than you realize. You can also consider painting your front door, washing windows and screens, and removing old lawn furniture to further spruce up the exterior. THE SUNRAIL’S SOUTHERN EXPANSION TO OPEN IN KISSIMMEE AND IN POINCIANA JULY 30TH 2018 The expansion of the SunRail track will provide a connection between Osceola, Orange, Seminole, and Volusia counties. There will be three stops that immediately impact the Osceola County area: the Tupperware Station near the intersection of Osceola Parkway and Orange Avenue, one near the intersection of Broadway and Monument Avenue in downtown Kissimmee at the existing Amtrak station, and a station in Poinciana near the intersection of Orange Blossom Trail and Poinciana Boulevard. With the opening of these new SunRail stations, we may see an improvement in many people’s commute to and from Orlando.
