Hamptons Restaurant Updates MUSE Restaurant & Aquatic Lounge in Water Mill celebrates Father’s Day with a $39.95 prime porterhouse special and a complimentary cigar for each Dad on Sunday, June 20 starting at 5:30 p.m. The regular $29.95 three-course prix fixe will also be offered and includes: soup of the moment; salad of baby greens, Roma tomato balsamic sour, feathered cucumbers, crumbled Boursin cheese in a tomato bowl; lightly breaded chicken cutlets with warm Roma tomato, Boursin cheese bruschetta, herbed Parmesan spaetzle in a pesto cream sauce; and toasted coconut crusted Atlantic salmon with curried smashed cauliflower, jerked creamed leeks and braised Swiss chard. Navy Beach now offers game time specials on select beach-bar menu items and the Elderflower Caipirinha cocktail during the 2010 World Cup games through Sunday July 11. All 2:30 p.m. and select 10 a.m. games will be viewable at the bar and lunch will be available. Saturdays in June boasts “Sunset Sets with Dan Bailey & Living Rhythm” at 6 p.m. on the beachfront. The Pridwin Beach Hotel & Cottages on Shelter Island will open its dining room and lounge to the public starting Sunday, June 27. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served seven days through Labor Day except on Wednesdays during the allyou-can-eat cookouts. Menus offer signature recipes such as Pridwin’s blackened tuna carpac-
cio, grilled sea scallops with tarragon butter, signature herbencrusted rack of lamb and the creamier than most cheesecake. Items to try are: grilled salmon with Southwestern pesto, cheddar cheese, bell pepper grits and Swiss chard ($22); Southwestern veggie burger with black beans, sweet potatoes, plantains, corn, mango BBQ sauce and one fixin’ ($14); and churros with chocolate dipping sauce ($5). Cuvéée Bistro & Bar in Greenport hosts the Second Annual Greenporter Roséé Festival on Thursday, June 17 from 6 to 9 p.m. The poolside event will benefit the East End Student Film Project and features roséé wines from Long Island Wine Council’s participating vineyards such as
Bedell Cellars and Corey Creek Vineyard. A buffet of light fare and hors d’oeuvres will be served including arugula pesto pasta salad and hot-smoked salmon filet. The rain date is Sunday, June 20. The restaurant will continue to offer wood-fired pizzas, the $30 Film & Food special with twocourse dinner and movie voucher, and the three-course $30 menu Monday through Wednesday until June 23. La Volpe in Center Moriches offers a Twilight menu from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays. Dishes are $12.99 each and may include: Spaghetti with Littleneck clams, cherry tomatoes, parsley, garlic and olive oil; tagliatelle in a creamy alfredo sauce; and rigatoni with mushrooms, onions, ham and chopped meat in a pink vodka sauce.
