There are 13 million orphans worldwide; 118,000 children await adoption in the United States alone 81.5 million people have considered adopting a child* 50% of those considering adoption say the cost of adoption is a major concern* It can cost $15000-$30000 to adopt a child In 2005 the non-profit Good Morning Adoption Fund was established to help qualified prospective parent(s) afford the cost of adopting a child To date, they have helped (5) families adopt (8) children * According to the 2002 National Adoption Attitudes Survey
