Song of Assembly1 Arise, My Soul, Arise
Arise, my soul arise, shake off your guilty fears, The bleeding sacrifice in my behalf appears. Before the throne, my Surety stands, Before the throne, my Surety stands, My name is written on His hands.
People: Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing! All: Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our God forever and ever! Amen!
Prayer of Adoration & Praise Hymn of Praise The Church’s One Foundation
If we were responsible for our own salvation, either in whole or even in part, we would be justified in singing our own praises and blowing our own trumpet in heaven. But such a thing is inconceivable. God’s redeemed people will spend eternity worshipping him, humbling themselves before him in grateful adoration, ascribing their salvation to him and to the Lamb, and acknowledging that he alone is worthy to receive all praise, honour, and glory. Why? Because our salvation is due entirely to his grace, will, initiative, wisdom and power. - John Stott For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. - The Apostle Paul

Worship with Psalms, Hymns, and Spiritual Songs Praise God
From all that dwell beneath the skies, Let the Creator’s praise arise. Let our Redeemer’s name be sung, Through every land, by every tongue. Eternal are Your mercies Lord, Eternal truth attends Your Word. Your praise will sound from shore to shore, Till suns shall rise and set no more. In every land, by every tongue, Let our Redeemer’s name be sung.
We fall down, we lay our crowns at the feet of Jesus, The greatness of mercy and love at the feet of Jesus.
Rend Your Hearts And Not Your Garments
And we cry holy, holy, holy We cry holy, holy, holy We cry holy, holy, holy is the Lamb.
Call to Confession
For since the law has but a shadow of the good things to come instead of the true form of these realities, it can never, by the same sacrifices that are continually offered every year, make perfect those who draw near. Otherwise, would they not have ceased to be offered, since the worshipers, having once been cleansed, would no longer have any consciousness of sins? But in these sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year. For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
We Pray for our Sins to be Taken Away Most merciful God, we confess that we have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what we have done, and by what we have left undone. We have not loved you with our whole heart; we have not loved our neighbors as ourselves. We are truly sorry and we humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on us and forgive us; that we may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name. ...Silent and Personalized Confession of Sin... Amen!
Words of Assurance
And every priest stands daily at his service, offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God, waiting from that time until his enemies should be made a footstool for his feet. For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified.
We Fall Down
All songs used by permission or covered under CCLI license # 391165.
We believe that God always initiates with sinners, so we begin worship with his invitation and command to us to gather in His name.
Open the Eyes of My Heart
Open the eyes of my heart, Lord, open the eyes of my heart, I want to see You, I want to see You. To see You high and lifted up shining in the light of Your glory, Pour out Your power and love as we sing, “Holy, holy, holy.” Open the eyes of my heart, Lord, open the eyes of my heart, I want to see You, I want to see You. Santo, Santo, Santo, Santo, Santo, Santo, Santo, Santo, Santo, Yo quiero verte.
Report of our Short-Term Missionaries to the Dominican Republic Prayers of Thanksgiving & Petition
Pastor Tommy Lee
…Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
His Tithes & Our Offerings
Praise God from whom all blessings flow, In Heaven above and earth below. Praise God the Father and the Son, Praise God the Spirit, three-in-one.
O God let all men praise you, let all the nations sing, In every land let praises and songs of gladness ring; So that your way most holy on earth may soon be known, And unto every people your saving grace be shown.
He ever lives above for me to intercede, His all redeeming love, His precious blood to plead, His blood atoned for every race, His blood atoned for every race, And sprinkles now the throne of grace.
Welcome and Preparation for Worship
The church’s one foundation is Jesus Christ, her Lord: She is his new creation by water and the Word; From heav’n he came and sought her to be his holy bride; With his own blood he bought her and for her life he died.
Arise, arise, arise, arise my soul, arise! Arise, arise, arise, arise my soul, arise, Shake off your guilty fear and rise!
Five bleeding wounds He bears received on Calvary, They pour effectual prayers, they strongly plead for me, “Forgive him, oh forgive,” they cry, “Forgive him, oh forgive,” they cry, “Nor let that ransomed sinner die.”
Revelation 5:11-12; 7:10, 12
Pastor: Then I looked, and I heard around the throne and the living creatures and the elders the voice of many angels, numbering myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice:
Receive Blessing From The Lord
Receive The Word Of God

You Shall Rejoice In Your Feast
I Am the Lord Your God
I am the Lord your God, (I... Am) The Holy One of Israel, your Savior. I am the Lord, (Do not fear.) I am the Lord, (Do not fear.) I am the Lord, (Do not fear.) I am the Lord. (Do not fear.)
The Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper Communion, also called The Lord’s Supper or Eucharist, is the family meal of Christians. We invite all committed followers of Jesus Christ to share in this sacrament: those who are baptized members of a congregation that proclaims the gospel, who are at peace with God and their neighbor, and who seek strength to live in a deeper communion with Jesus. If you are not a Christian, or you are not prepared to share in this meal, we encourage you to spend this time in prayer. We hope that this time is helpful to you as you consider your relationship with Jesus Christ and with his people, the Church.
Great Is Thy Faithfulness
God shall supply all you need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father, There is no shadow of turning with Thee; Thou changest not, Thy compassions they fail not, As Thou hast been Thou forever will be. Great is Thy faithfulness! Great is Thy faithfulness! Morning by morning new mercies I see; All I have needed Thy hand hath provided, Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me! Summer and winter and springtime and harvest, Sun, moon and stars in their courses above, Join with all nature in manifold witness, To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love. Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth, Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide, Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow, Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!
Just as God called us into His presence at the beginning, so now He commands His blessing upon us as we depart. We look up and extend our hands in a posture of thanksgiving as we receive this great gift. Our final response to God’s assurance of His peace and presence upon those who are in Christ is a chorus of joyful song.
4, 5, & 6 year-old children may be dismissed before the sermon to Godly Play in room 173.
