Each student has a combination of two or more of the following impairments: acute visual impairment, hearing impairment, mobility or cognitive impairment. All the pupils are autistic, they will never be able to lead totally independent lives and each will require lifetime support. building that could promote a real sense of independence for the pupil and a design of a place of safety and ambition that would support the child and free the teacher.

BENTRE BLIND SCHOOL Graduate project

The school design focuses on creating a safe, stimulating environment for students and staff. I set out to eliminate any institutional feel and worked to avoid conventional thinking on school design.

HHOUSE 08 /2018 - 01/2019 Team design: Mr. Chief architect and me.

I participated in this project from basic design stage. Mr. Chief architect and i developed his first idea about this house. A long straight stair was located among the side to create more space for ground floor. Floor deviation option was chose for more space. A big void in middle of the house can give more extra light and improve ventilation of the house. I also presented drawing 2D, 3D rendering.

We design a coffee shop base on structure frame which’s built before. Glass is used as much as we can to increase view from inside the building. Perforated panels were used as sunshade on exterior. Double skin facade will help reduce building’s energy cost. The interior is mix of tropical and industrial style. Coffee shop in ground floor and third floor. Second floor is for office. I followed this project from concept design to contruction. I produced drawing, 3D rendering. And there are 2 months i worked as a site supervisor.

F HOUSE 06/2019 Design by me I design this house base on daily routine habits of the owner. The main concept idea is two blocks of the house ( the silent area and the active area) will connect to each other by the living room block. Two areas that the owner will likely use the most is master bedroom, dinning room and kitchen. So i put them in eastern area to avoid high volume of sunlight in the afternoon, and sub area like garage, guest bedroom in western area to prevent the heat. The living room and dinning room is divided by a low wall combine with wide opendoor will bring the spacious feeling to people inside the house. And that will allow wind flow through all corner of the house so temperature indoor will be aceptable.
