Exhibitors KiAM have been selected as the 2018 City of Guelph’s Artist in Residence team. KIAM’s project, #YourWard, will launch at Art on the street and will use images of each of Guelph’s wards to create six large-scale paintings that explore transitions in the urban environment. Visit them at Booth #60 to learn more about this amazing project.

look up!

Look up on Quebec Street to see the streetlight banners that highlight twelve Art on the Street 2018 artists. Visit nearby Macdonell Street for another open air art gallery that showcases Guelph Studio Tour artists past and present.

sT GeoRGe’s sQuARe, 10am to 5pm The Children’s Arts Festival collective will inspire creativity in St George’s Square with a full day of interactive programs, all set within a space that will be designed with your child’s inner artist in mind. The festival aims to enable children to discover, enjoy and celebrate the arts – as audience, learners and as creators of their own art. The Children’s Art Factory, Play with Clay, Guelph Public Library, and Guelph School of Art will take over the square with paint, bubbles and costumes, and there’s an ‘instrument petting zoo’ from the Suzuki String School of Guelph. Wander across to Old Quebec Street with your allowance to check out the Mini Makers Market. Young entrepreneurs will be selling their handmade wares from cute market stalls.
