Notes of Interest …………………… A Saturday of Barbershop! After our coaching retreat, Show Time! . Windjammer Barbershop Chorus holds Annual Show "Come Celebrate The Sound!" Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 7:00 pm Rockport Opera House Performers include: the Windjammers, Starboard Watch quartet, Nor'easter Barbershop Chorus from Bath and Good Time Sound northeastern barbershop competition quartet. The choruses will perform together with 40 men on stage singing some of your favorite songs in the barbershop style. Tickets are $12 seniors/students and $15 gen adm - available at the door or from Nick Greenwood at 236-2159. Gentlemen Songsters: Thanks so much for being part of the 9-11 commemoration ceremony at Falmouth American Legion Post #164 on Sunday. You were appreciated by everyone present. I overheard numerous comments of praise and tribute. The Downeasters were a featured part of the coverage on WGME-TV (Channel 13) Noon News on Monday, and you sounded great on the radio recording. Jack did his usual good job of directing and Ryan had the production aspects well planned. And you guys all looked terrific!! Many folks heard you for the first time. You did yourselves proud! Thanks again.
