NED Fall District Convention It’s time to show the District what we’ve been working on! Please remember: -To bring your chorus membership cards -To bring - and wear - your maroon Downeaster shirt when not performing. -To smile, early and often! The Uniform for our NED Convention Contest Tux, white tux shirt (regular collar), blue vest, long black tie, socks and shoes. Please take special care in having a clean, sharp, white tux shirt.


Remember,  the  right  hand  side  of  the  page  says,  consistently  in  tune,  artistic   embellishment,  artistic  delivery,  excellent  execution.   ~Walt   Greetings, Gentlemen (Ladies also.!!) We are in count-down mode for the launching of the NED 2012 Convention, and all systems are A-OK. This will be the final general posting from me concerning this effort. Riser crew. Please be at the WPAC before 12:00 PM on Fri., so when we are allowed access, we will be ready. If we have enough guys present early, we may even pull the risers out of the trailer and tighten the bolts. I will be bringing some tools for that. Very important, we need a good crew to help to get these risers back into the trailer Sat. night at approximately 10:00 PM, Several of you have volunteered, you know the drill. Volunteers. Doors open for Competitors at 4:00 PM Friday, Saturday 8:00 AM, and 5:30 PM. Please be there before that to get your badges, to get familiar with the facility, and your assignment, and be ready to assist Competitors in finding their dressing rooms, bathrooms, etc.. My special thanks to all of the volunteers who are making this happen. More on that at a later date. Installation Banquet To Be Held At Val Halla It is now official that the Installation Banquet will be on January 26 at the Val Halla Golf & Country Club in Cumberland, Maine. The prices of meals will be announced shortly but we expect it to be around $20 to 25 per. You will have a choice of fish, chicken, and meat and all dietary needs will be satisfied.
