Surplus to Requirements A special limited edition box, containing original artwork created by members of the Made Collective in response to the collection of plant and insect specimens from the Herbarium at Manchester Museum. Surplus to Requirements considers themes of collaboration, the creative possibilities offered by collections that have disbanded or lost their original function, obsolescence and the application of ‘marginal’ technology and craft.
