Welcome ON BEHALF of the Dovelewis Board of Directors, staff, and volunteers I want to

thank you for joining us for the 2021 Virtual Wet Nose Soirée. While normalcy may be a little way off, I am hopeful that sometime later this year we will be able to visit more in person and we can give you our heartfelt thanks for your support of DoveLewis. Throughout the last year, DoveLewis and its compassionate team of care givers adapted and persevered during some of the most challenging circumstances to sustain critical emergency and specialty veterinary services for our community in Oregon and Southwest Washington. While some local ER’s reduced their hours or even closed their doors, we are on target to treat more than 30,000 patients. That is an increase of more than 20 percent from last year. The pandemic challenged us to think creatively, resulting in the addition of services like Urgent Care and Pain Management and investment in innovative technology to make sure we deliver on our promise to be here always when you and your pet need help the most. Not surprisingly, over the last year we saw an incredible need from families impacted by COVID-19 seeking assistance to cover the cost of care for their pet. We can help them in their time of need because of people like you and your support of our Mission! By raising your paddle and participating in the online auction, you are supporting our unique and vital programs, such as pet loss support, animal assisted therapy, a canine and feline blood bank, care for injured stray animals and wildlife, online education for veterinary professionals, and financial assistance through our Velvet Assistance Fund. This past year has been one of the most challenging we have all faced. Only the support of each other, our local veterinary partners, and our amazing supporters has allowed us to remain open every minute of every day. We know we need to fulfill our Mission regardless and your generous support has allowed us not to let our community down. Thank you again for your generous partnership.

With Gratitude,

Ron Morgan President & Chief Executive Officer DoveLewis Emergency Animal Hospital

Patron Winery Partners ALEX ANA WINERY was born of Dr. Madaiah Revana’s love of the great wines of Burgundy. In the spring of 2005, Dr. Revana began a search for both the ideal region and an experienced winemaker with the goal of producing Pinot Noirs that could rival those from Burgundy. His search ended in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Alexana is named after Dr. Revana’s daughter, Alexanda.
