Vice President, Class Action Services Waterloo, ON Michael.Mooney@crawco.ca Michael began his career in the insurance industry in 1999, conducting and managing the Special Investigation Unit and Subrogation and Recovery department of a major property and casualty insurer. Mike then assumed responsibility for the management of complex litigation cases, many of which involved extra-contractual claim litigation management. In 2008 Mike joined the Crawford Class Action Services Division as the Director of Operations, and in 2011 was appointed Vice President. Mike has extensive insurance industry litigation management training.

Shawn began his career with Crawford in 1989, joining Class Action Services in 2001. He obtained his all lines adjusting license in 1993. He is a Chartered Insurance Professional and is a member in good standing with the Insurance Institute of Canada. Shawn has experience as an all lines adjuster and has been a member of the Catastrophe Services team in the Caribbean. Shawn has successfully progressed through various senior roles in Class Action Services including Senior Evaluator, Senior Project Manager, Director of Audit and Quality Control and currently Director of Operations.

Brenda began her insurance career in 1997 with Crawford, joining Class Action Services in 2005. Brenda has an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Business. She has earned the Chartered Insurance Professional and Certified Risk Management designations and is an all lines adjuster. Brenda’s expertise is in administration process development, management and execution. She is a member of the Ontario Independent Adjusters Association and the Executive Round Table.
Tom Poirier, CMA

He has received his Bachelor of Arts degrees in Math, Economics and Sociology from the University of Guelph. He became a Certified Management Accountant in 1985. Tom’s expertise is in financial analysis, cash management, budgeting and forecasting.
Kim Chalmers, CIP
Director, Administration & Operational Support, Class Action Services Waterloo, ON Kim.Chalmers@crawco.ca Kim began her career in the insurance industry in 1978 in the claims department of a major property and casualty insurer. Kim joined Crawford in 1994 and transferred to Class Action Services in 2000. She obtained her all lines independent adjusting license in 1996 and her Chartered Insurance Professional designation in 1998. Kim assisted in the development and implementation of the Crawford Claims School. Kim has also been responsible for the administration management of multiple class action settlements of varying degrees of complexity and size. She is also an associate of the Insurance Institute of Canada.

Kevin began his career with Crawford Class Action Services in 2002. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration Finance Degree from St. Francis Xavier University in 2001. He is responsible for the management of the Canadian Hepatitis C blood transfusion settlements from the Ottawa branch of Crawford Class Action Services.

Peter began his career in 2002 as a computer technician. He joined Crawford Class Action Services in 2007. In 2008, Peter received his Bachelor of Applied Arts (Paralegal) degree from the Humber Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning and a P1 license from the Law Society of Upper Canada. Peter specializes in technology, data and electronic document management processes.

She joined the Crawford Class Action Services division in 2000. Carol’s expertise is in medical claims evaluation, primarily in the Hepatitis C class action settlement.
