Wutaishan Marriott Hotel Public Areas Renovation Mt. Wutai is located in northeast of Shanxi province, China, and is of the Four Sacred Mountains of Chinese Buddhism. As an existing hotel located in Mt. Wutai, the design is influenced by the existing architecture and materials which reflect the landscape and highlights the surrounding views. The history of the site and its importance as a Buddhist pilgrimage destination is reflected in the artwork and patterns throughout the hotel. Key public spaces in the hotel are redesigned to create warm, light filled spaces with natural textures and materials inspired by the local settings. FUZHOU BOUTIQUE HOTEL Local in Fuzhou of Fujian Province in Southern China, Fuzhou Boutique Hotel with interior concept coming from its local tea culture, consisting 8 Floors of public and room spaces include opening atrium, lobby, 3 meal, Chinese Dining, Pool and SPA. And service apartments for rent, typical guestrooms, large suites and one Presidential Suite. STAR LIGHT 68 SHOPPING MALL
Reception Design
Star Light 68 as one of the first high-end luxurious shopping mall in Chongqing, one of the major municipality city in China, consist of a large area of shopping complex and a mix of luxury brands. With the total area of 35000 Square Meters, the building composed of 4 floors of fashion and accessories shops, entertainment and leisure spaces. Individual tasks: Detailed design of reception area of ground floor, with design coordinating overall concept and plan, and new touch screen technology adding to the counter. Planning and design of public restrooms and staff offices on each floor. Presentation methods involves hand sketches, CAD drawings and 3D perspectives. GT LAND LANDMARK ANALYSIS G.T. Land Plaza stands in the heart of Guangzhou city, CBD District, located next to Guangzhou Museum, TV Tower and 7 other landmark buildings. The Landmark covers the largest business projects in the fast developing city. The Plaza is being built with the theme of the four seasons, each landmark represent spring, summer, autumn and winter, respectfully. Since this project was under the Concept Development and Master Planning stage, researches were conducted to analysis the Landmark’s circulation, relation to nearby parks, and its user group. It provides an active forum in which Asian American Hotel Owners, through an exchange of ideas with a unified voice, can communicate, and interact. Every year Royal Touch Inc. participates in AAHOA and display all of its products in a 20’ x 20’ show booth. Individual tasks: Provide creative ideas for the 20’ x 20’ booth.
