Power through the day Smoothie: • 1 cup Coconut Milk • 1 tablespoon Cocoa • 1/2 cup Blueberries • 1 cup Spinach • 1 Banana • 1 Tablespoon Almond Butter

(S KU 60 2 10 0 88) Celery was used as early as the 5th century by the Chinese, and widely used in Indian Ayurvedic practices. Celery has a complex, strong, sweet and spicy aroma. The plant takes two years to fully mature and produce its small fruit, which are tan to brown in colour.

2 Handfuls approximately / 2 cups Kale

The seeds are the primary repository for the essential oil. Limonene, the dominant constituent in Celery Seed oil is also found in refreshing citrus peel and fir needle oils. The oil has a calming, relaxing and positive aroma.

2 Handfuls approximately / 2 cups Baby Spinach

2 Green Apples, cored

1/2 Cucumber

Celery Seed oil has a distinct, strong flavour.

1/2 Lemon squeezed (for extra benefits, use the juice from an entire lemon)

1 Banana

2 drops Celery Seed essential oil

1 drop Ginger essential oil

Ice to serve

Makes 4

• 1 cup Pineapple • 2 cups Spinach • 1/2 cup Grapes • 1 1/2 cup Orange Juice • 1 Banana • 1 – 2 drops Celery Seed essential oil • Ice to serve

Smoothie Instructions: Add ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Add ice depending on temperature preference. Notes: (1) Frozen bananas work best in smoothies. Peel, slice in half, and place in a large Ziploc bag in the freezer overnight (2) Add more spinach to increase nutritional benefits.
