DOST - NCR in partnership with DOST - III and the Technology Application and Promotion Institute also successfully staged the CY 2010 Regional Inventors Contest and Exhibit at the Fiesta Bulacan Convention Center in Malolos, Bulacan. The contest and exhibit draws 6 entries to the Inventions Category, 14 entries to the Utility Model Category, 5 entries to Industrial Design, 22 entries to Creative Research and 18 and 32 entries to Creative Research on College and High School levels respectively. A press conference and fora on programs of the DOST and the Land Bank of the Philippines for inventors was also conducted during three day activity.
