The intention of this little magazine is to give you an easy reference guide to local trades and businesses, so please use the advertisers inside! This makes all the difference, and makes our work all worth while. The index at the back gives you the full array of businesses. From blinds, to vets, to insurance, childrens’ activities, kitchens, fire alarms, chimney sweeps and many more. We also have some local information for you from East Dorset N Gauge Society, The Friends of Kinson Common and Kinson School & Village Memories. If you have a local club or society please give me a call as we can promote you for free! There is also our ‘Nellie Story’ which is the Dorset Publication’s Campervan. This month she took us a little further away, to Brighton. You can read about our weekend in the cold, fresh night air on pages 20 and 21. It has taken me a little while longer to get into the Christmas spirit this year, but I have to say I am now really looking forward to my parents coming to visit and that all important turkey dinner. For me that is what this time of year is all about - family, friends, good food and a little bit of magic in the air. I hope you have something special planned.
