OUR TIME TOGETHER On our first evening together we will meet over a gorgeous welcome dinner at Malibu Rocky Oaks taking in the serene views over the Malibu Hills. During this time, attendees and vendors will have time to greet and share stories. The next three days, we will document three styled shoots set above the amazing views of Malibu Rocky Oaks. During our two full days, we will meet at the vendor home to learn from industry leading professionals about branding, marketing, social media, film and digital work flows. Conversations will continue through out class times to
expand on using light, documenting weddings, working with your ideal clients, publications, booking destination weddings, working on styled shoots, working with planner/stylists, working with your film lab and how to execute business to the best of your ability. We will leave no stone unturned, I wish I could share with you right now, how impactful this workshop will be. Leaving the rat race of this industry behind and finding time to hone in your skill set via our instruction, our interactions and our conversations will leave you fulfilled in ways you may have never experience beforeâ€Śread on.

The education sessions are likewise vital and here again we will only speak on practical and relevant topics. Donny is ready to unpack everything he has learned, from shooting luxury weddings, international weddings and how he continues to grow his business. These decisions will be carefully studied and planned as we feel only the best practices can bring the most traction to your business. LOGISTICS: Getting Around Dear Potential Attendee, Thank you for stopping by. I hope everything you were seeking you found here. If not please contact me and I will help answer all of your questions. I wanted to share a little more about the logistics as you look to make an investment that can alter your photography business in amazing ways.
Travel to and from the workshop and lodging is not included in your workshop fee. It is advised, to wait to book your travel and lodging until after a few other attendees have signed up. Waiting will give you options to carpool with each other from the airport to venue location and to your hotel/Airbnb.
I have made plans to stay 3 blocks from Malibu Rocky Oaks (MRO), where we will host all the meals: breakfast, lunch and two of the three dinners (first dinner is the welcome dinner). The location where I’m staying, is perfectly situated about 5 mins from MRO. Again, a private “Malibu Rocky Oaks Workshop” page will be created to talk specifics, carpooling, lodging, and get to know each other from a distance before we meet in person. All class meetings will occur at the home where I will be staying at. Directions to the house will be sent via the FB group.
