(Top half only, bottom half must be school uniform) Totara- Blue Kauri- Green Pohutakawa- Red Kowhai-Yellow THE HOME ZONE MAKING MATHS FUN!: Making maths fun is the key to mastering mathematics. Here are some easy ‘maths’ games you can play with your child: Ask your child to choose a number and show you using their fingers. Then get them to write the number in the air. Count out some buttons or shells with your child and then place them in a box. Tell your child you have taken three away. Ask them without looking how many are left and then check them together. Ask your child what number comes before 3? What number comes after 2? What number is 2 more than 8? etc. Using cards, turn two random cards over and work out the sum. Above all have fun!!
