The MIDOTEC fertilizers are slow release granular NPK fertilizers containing the nitrification inhibitor dicyandiamide (DCD). Nitrogen is fundamental for plant’s nutrition and it ensures a high performance of crops’ production. Normally fertilizers, when applied in the soil, undergo a loss of nitrogen to the environment. In MIDOTEC products however this loss is considerably reduced thanks to the DCD, which slows down the Nitrification process (the conversion of Ammonia to nitric acid is delayed for a period of 8-12 weeks). The DCD inhibits the Nitrosomonas bacteria, which is responsible for the nitrification, thus the ammonium nitrogen remains in the soil for a much longer period before turning into nitric nitrogen. In other words, the Nitrogen that normally would volatilize or be washed away, is kept in the soil and will still be available to the plant after 8-12 weeks. The use of MIDOTEC fertilizers leads of course to economic advantages for the farmers as more

nitrogen will be available to the plants, meaning less nitrogen fertilizer applications are required. Our made-in-Italy MIDOTEC products are in accordance with the European Commission’s directives regarding the reduction of CO2 emissions in the atmosphere, and are thus environment-friendly products. The product can be distributed over the whole surface or only localized along the row for base or top dressings.

* In the formulation it is possible to use the DMPP 3.4 (dimethyl pyrazole-phosphate) as an alternative to DCD.

MIDOTEC GOLD is a granular NPK ferilizer specifically suitable for the basal and top dressing of all crops. This fertilizer contains different forms of Nitrogen (N), quickly absorbable and with slow-release effect (IBDU). The ammoniacal part of Nitrogen satisfies the needs of the plants at the beginning of the growth phase. Instead, the IBDU Isobutylidenediurea represents a nitrogen stockpile in the soil, which is gradually and slowly released, during the different phonological stages of the plants. Phosphorus (P) derives from very pure raw materials,and is highly soluble. Potassium (K), derives from potassium sulfate, which improves the sugar contents and a more intense coloration of fruits, resulting in an increased production quantity and quality. The acidifying effect of sulfur (S) allows to convey nutritive elements which otherwise are blocked by soil colloids.

Finally the high quantity of microelements (Iron, Magnesium, Zinc) contained in MIDOTEC GOLD, reduce the risk of physiopathies, improves he health of the leaves and enhances the quality of production. MIDOTEC GOLD is a product with a homogeneous granulometry and is dust free, this in order to achieve a better and more accurate distribution onto the soil.

The products of the AUREA line are slow release fertilizers. They contain Ureic nitrogen fully treated with N (butyl) thiophosphoric triamide (NBPT), a molecule which hinders the urease enzyme. It is a urease inhibitor and it impedes the transformation of Ureic nitrogen into ammonia (which is highly volatile) through the temporary inhibition of the enzyme. The urease enzyme, in nature, is produced by mushrooms and bacteria present in the soil in huge quantities. Immediately after the application of a top dressing, urea comes into contact with the urease enzyme which produces, by hydrolysis, ammonia carbonate, causing the volatilization of ammonia into the air. Additionally, due to the hydrolysis, groups of hydroxyl OH are freed up, causing an increase of the pH value, and also resulting in a decline of the alkaline conditions of the soil. The urease inhibitor stabilizes the nitrogen as urea and avoids the rapid transformation into ammonia that would otherwise occur. Thus ureic nitrogen has more

time available to ground in the soil in such a way that volatilizations are notably decreased (it reduces the volatilization of nitrogen up to 50 %, especially important in hot and dry climates). Moreover as the nitrogen is available to the plants for a longer period of time, the plants can satisfy their needs proportionally in all the critical vegetative stages. This enables an increased harvest and quality, permitting less interventions and dosages. The AUREA fertilizers are environment-friendly products and are in accordance with the European Commission’s directives regarding the reduction of CO2 emissions in the atmosphere.

MAGICOLOR is a mineral NPK fertilizer containing stabilized Ammonia Nitrogen, highly soluble Phosphorus, Potassium Sulphate and Magnesium. The main characteristics are: • stabilized Nitrogen • Potassium derived entirely from Sulphate • fertilizer enriched with Iron and Magnesium • fertilizer with Acidifying effect • high contents of Sulphuric Anhydride The localized presence of Nitric Nitrogen and stabilized Ammonia Nitrogen permits the plants to satisfy their Nitrogen needs for a large period of time during the vegetative cycle. The Potassium derives exclusively from Sulphate which allows MAGICOLOR to be used also in Chlorine sensible crops. Meanwhile, the Iron and Magnesium available in high concentration permit a more intense coloration of the leaves and notably improve the quality of the crops.

MAGICOLOR 21 is a simple mineral fertilizer with diferent types of nitrogen, mainly under ureic and Ammoniacal forms and added with principle micro-elements (iron and magnesium) and meso-elements (sulfur). Due to its high sulfur content and the presence of ammoniacal nitrogen, MAGICOLOR 21 is a sub-acidic fertilizer. Therefore the application of MAGICOLOR 21 in limestone soils permit the activation of phosphorus and microelements holded by soil colloids, improving the conditions of plant growth.

25 Kg TAILOR-MADE FORMULATIONS AVAILABLE ON REQUEST The MIDO product line consists of granular complex NPK fertilizers, which are enriched base and top dressings for plants. The formulations are characterized by pure, highly soluble raw materials with sub-acid reaction and a high content of micro-elements and potassium sulphate. The MIDO products are designed to supply all the nutritional requirements for productive crops, which need balanced amounts of Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium and micro-elements to ensure quality produce and a high yield. Given that the granules contain all three major nutrients, by using the MIDO fertilizers, it is possible to make only one fertilization, replacing the 3 different doses of conventional fertilizers. This means a significant economic advantage for the farmer. MIDO is specially tailored to vineyards, orchards, horticulture, nurseries and industrial crops.

COMPLESAL BIO is an organo-mineral fertilizer containing: Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K). The nitrogen comes completely from organic matter, deriving from meat meal. This in the soil allow a slow transformation, by microorganisms, in ammoniacal and nitric nitrogen, without leak due to leaching. Phosphorus comes from bone meal, its organic formulation makes it available in the long run. The high level of potassium, derived from potassium sulfate, promotes the sugars accumulation and fruit coloring, causing an increase of quality. The acidifying action of Sulfur (S) makes several nutrients available for the plants otherwise holded by soil colloids. The organic carbon (C) present in COMPLESAL BIO increases soil fertility getting better its the structure and promoting the activity of microflora and microfauna. Finally the homogeneous formulation, without dust and with low humidity, ensures stability over time and guarantees high product quality.

25 Kg TAILOR-MADE FORMULATIONS AVAILABLE ON REQUEST The ENNNE’ formulations are crystalline NPK slow release water-soluble fertilizers. The Phosphorus (P) is derived from Mono-Ammonium Phosphate and the Potassium (K) is entirely derived from Sulphate. The Nitrogen present under ammoniac form is stabilized with Dicyandiamide (DCD), a chemical Nitrification Inhibitor. The DCD inhibits the bacteria Nitrosomonas which is responsible for the nitrification lasting several weeks. It is because of this that the transformation of the Ammoniac Nitrogen into Nitric Nitrogen is slowed down. This process permits a longer presence of the ammonia ion (NH4) in the soil, which enhances the acidification effect of the fertilizer resulting in a major Ammoniac Nitrogen absorption of the plants. When ENNNE’ is used immediately after planting, it stimulates the sprouting and rooting of the plants; whilst when used before blossoming, it increases fer-

tility of the soil. It boosts the mobilization and absorption of phosphorus and trace elements in the rhizosphere. It also permits the reduction of N2O and NO3 emissions: the minor volatilization of nitrogen is absorbed by plants and is not dispersed into the environment. The ENNNE’ fertilizers are environment-friendly products.

* In the formulation it is possible to use the DMPP 3.4 (dimethyl pyrazole-phosphate) as an alternative to DCD.

The huge variety of formulations can satisfy the crop needs in all vegetative stages. Our company only uses Phosphorus (P) derived from mono-ammoniacal Phosphates and from mono-potassium Phosphates, whilst the potassium (K) is derived from nitrate. All the various formulas are enriched with Trace Elements in order to improve the physical-chemical characteristics. In terms of fertigation the MUGASOL product range can be applied from the planting until harvesting, using each specific formulation at the right phenological stage. At the end of the production process, the MUGASOL fertilizers go through a unique drying plant under a controlled atmosphere. This process guarantees the lowest humidity content that you can find in the

world for these types of products. This means that the shelf life of these products is increased considerably, with an increased solubility and easier dosing, as the product is always free-flowing and the cacking phenomenon in the bags is eliminated.

The main characteristic of the IDROPLANT line is that the products are formulated exclusively with Nitric (NO3) and Ammoniacal (NH4) Nitrogen and are thus completely void of Ureic Nitrogen, which is particularly fundamental in the fertilization of alkaline soil. In fact, when in the soil Ureic Nitrogen becomes, by hydrolysis, Ammonium Carbamate, which causes an increase of the pH in the circulating solution. Important agronomical advantages of IDROPLANT are: • subacid reaction • low salinity • total absence of Urea, Chlorine and Carbonates • immediate and complete solubility • absence of residues • low EC values

Thus the IDROPLANT NPK fertilizers guarantee effective and efficient results with Nitric and Ammoniacal Nitrogen at low temperatures and can also be used in hydroponic cultivation. Furthermore the IDROPLANT products undergo dehumidification under controlled atmosphere. The high concentration of nutrients in the gel formulation allows to reduce the dosage and the need of water to be used for the application. All formulas of GEL MUGASOL line contain organic substance which is important for both producing the matrix of the “gel” and giving a high agronomic value to the products. The matrix in gel behaves like a “sponge” in the soil which absorbs and so retains a larger amount of nutritive elements and water: in this way Gel Mugasol products increase the capacity of cationic exchange and the soil water capacity at the same time.

All formulas of GEL MUGASOL are characterized by the presence of dispersant and humectant agents which have the capacity of uniform the size of the solution’s drops in case of foliar application, this allows an excellent and long lasting adhesion of the product on the leaves surfaces. Among the complementary effects there is also high anti-drift capacity.
