I’ve updated my book reviews and plan to do a few over the break. Unlike most kids my age I have an extensive to-read list to complete! Wish me luck!

Book Recommendations By Genres Divergent by Veronica Roth   Lately I’ve really been into the hole dystopian genre. I’ve read the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins and Anthem by Ayn Rand and loved them! So I decided to try Divergent.   Divergent takes place in the future Chicago. The society is divided into five factions, each portraying a certain characteristic  Candor (the honest), Abnegation (the selfless), Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful), and Erudite (the intelligent). On their 16th birthday they must make the biggest decision of their lives. They must choose which faction they will devote the rest of their lives to. The main character Beatrice must choose between her family or finding herself. The thing about  Beatrice is she Divergent. Which literately means different (A boatload of stuff is going on in this book but I’m not a spoiler)! Beatrice renames herself Tris (Spoiler Alert!) when she starts her new faction. Tris than must find out who her real friends are, who she can trust and most of all who she is. Did I mention while the faction rage war on each other? Oh well they wage war on each other… Ohh and she has a secret to. The good… I loved how the story is about finding yourself. Beatrice throughout the story thinks of herself as less than ordinary, but over and over again she leads herself and others to do extraordinary things. The Bad… Sometimes too upbeat for me. I didn’t enjoy all the deaths ether. The Verdict I couldn’t put this book down! I loved it.

Don’t For!t Thanks for reading this weeks review see you next time!
