Internet Addiction Associated with Gene Mutation

People who suffer from Internet addiction may be caused by genes that they have. This is evidenced by the scientists through a study. Reported from Live Science, Friday (08/31/2012), researchers from the University of Bonn in Germany interviewed 843 people about their online habits. 132 of them showed signs of having an unhealthy relationship with internet. Their thoughts spinning around the internet and a sense of well-being shaken up when they can not connect to the internet. The scientists also compared the gene possessed two groups. They found that people who tend to be addicted to the internet often have CHRNA4 gene mutation, similar to the nicotine addiction.
