As always, I am excited, just as much as the staff is, to be bringing you the next edition of Forge Magazine. We always will try and bring you the best quality that we can and keep it as fun. This month we have really good articles, recipes, artwork, and other goodies. We had the honor of hanging out with the awesome Geo and her new man. We love working with everyone that we get the honor of. Forge would truly not exist without their epic work. I would like to take this time to thank the staff personally for all the hard work that they have put in to the magazine to continue making it a reality for everyone else to enjoy. There is one in particular I would like to thank that has been with me since almost the very beginning of Forge. To Belladonna. I honestly would not

know what I would do without your continued support, work, and dedication. I am honored to have you on staff and to see you continue to grow not only as a creator but as an Editor as well. I hope that we will be working together and I can continue to see the work that you do. I would also like to welcome aboard the three newest members to the Forge Publications staff. Enough is Enough

Enough is Enough Stopping Bullying Bullies are getting out of hand and using any method they can do to try and get what they want out of their victims. Everything from physical threats on their lives to taking them to court and suing them, Bullies continue to rampage the world with their control. It is time that the people stand up and quit being victims. Cause in the end, we the victims, hold the key to the bully’s demise. Words hurt just as much as any physical action that can be done. But most do not realize that the scars from the words will last longer than any bruise, cut, or lawsuit. So rise to the occassion and put a stop to the endless victimizing that other people do just because they are not happy with their own lives. Do not be the victim any longer. A bully is a person that, for many different reasons, makes other peoples lives miserable. Most of the time, a bully is created due to abusive natures at home, severe unhappiness about situations, or that they were spoiled beyond comprehenforge magazine

sion and feel that the only way they can get what they want is when they threaten someone to give it to them. A bully can do a lot of damage if not stopped. They can even expand to online services to hurt those that in most cases have never met but pose a threat to their security. Many instances of bullying, no matter the type of bullying, have resulted in suicides. Mostly cause the victim feels that they have no other escape than to end their lives. In these cases, the bullies are not always found and brought to the realization of what they have actually done and caused. On many of the online services that people use, there are block buttons. However, many of the bullies find other ways to continue harassing the person. This can be from creating new accounts in which to continue the harassment to going to other services that they know the person is using. Some even go as far to attack place of employment or friends that use online facilities.

So why speak out about bullies? The answer is simple. If you don’t speak about it the bully will never stop. As CEO of Forge Publications, I have had my fair share of dealing with angry clients or disappointed readers. In every instance, it never went beyond a few angry words and then a solution to fix the problem that arose. Unfortunately, in one instance, that was not the case. For safety issues of those that I love, care for, and work for or with me; I cannot release the name of the bully that has been harassing me for the past month. I can tell you what the situation is and that it has involved many people that I know and work with. So if you care enough to help stop a bully from destroying someone’s life, I implore you to please sit down and continue reading my tale. At the end, you decide if you want to take a stance against the bullies of the world. I have an account on IMVU where the base of Forge Publications is located and started. I have had the particular account in question for three years now without any

“You teach people how to treat you by what you allow, what you stop, and what you reinforce.” -Tony Gaskins complications or complaints from IMVU themselves. A few months after starting Forge, I came into contact with a radio station that made a mutual agreement with me. We were going to advertise them with no cost. In turn, they would advertise us on air and provide a link on their website. This relationship worked until about four months ago. A sponsor of Forge’s wanted to sponsor the radio station that we were linked with. A very generous and kind person, he went into a room that was owned by the radio station. Because of what he had on his website, a supposed “high ranking” person in the station booted him without reason until later. He didn’t cause any issues but did present me with the issue and proof that he did nothing to merit the horrific treatment that he got.

Later, this person discussed with me the issue. Claiming that there was a lawsuit against a person that was listed on the Sponsor’s page. I was given evidence of why the issue was there and when I finally stated that there was no issue in what was stated and that I didn’t want any part of the problem of hers, I blocked her on IMVU so I could be left alone from the drama. About a week later, I was kicked from the family group page on IMVU and then was given the reason that because she was no longer on my friends list that I could not be on the family’s group page. The fun part of this was she was not head of the family. A day after I had wrote her on Skype telling her that her actions on IMVU made her look horrible and that she needs to stop attacking people, I was sent a form through the Forge website stating that

I did not have permission to publish any names, incidences, or the like concerning her or anyone she worked with or I would face legal action. I sent back a cease of contact to her email. This stated that I was not accepting any form of contact from her or anyone she was associated with as I was taking it as a form of harassment and wanted nothing to do with it. About two weeks after this email was sent, I received another email to my personal work email. I was told the same thing that was sent to me two weeks prior. Again, I sent the cease communications email and provided her my legal representation contact information in case she wanted to continue. I received four emails that day with continuous threats. All of the emails included my personal information, including my real name, address, and other information like the last numbers on my

forge magazine

credit card and expiration date. After contacting my legal representation, I made the mistake of using the pulse option on IMVU and stated her avatar name and the fact that she needed to stop harassing and threatening people. I did not use any vulgar language. I also stated that, in my opinion, she needed to disappear cause of what she was doing. That pulse was made the day I received the emails, which were the second of February. I received notification yesterday that my account on IMVU was banned for 14 days due to this pulse and that it was against TOS. This person has been harassing ex-coworkers of the radio station that left willingly and has had no further contact with her. They blocked her from their account. But because she has four other accounts and many people that watch others for her, the harassment has continued and the threats. Now, when I started Forge Publications, I

18 forge magazine

made sure that each and every staff member understood that we do not accept bullying in any shape, way, or form. That if they were found guilty of doing such horrendous acts, they would be terminated from the position that they were in. But, I also stated to them that in no way should they have to deal with the bullying either. It is my right, as an American citizen, to have my freedom of speech. Owning a publications company, I have the right to my freedom of press. I will not accept someone, who thinks they can hurt people by threatening them, to dictate to me what the Constitution of the United States and the Bill of Rights grants me or any other individual. So I implore all of you, to stand up and say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. We will NOT go quietly into the night, we will stand and FIGHT. Intimidation, threats, harassment, and any of the like are not welcome. That we, as people, have rights. We have the right to assemble in peaceful manners. We have the right to state our opinions.

We have the right to state fact when we have evidence to prove such fact. We have the right to not deal with bullies. So those of you who are involved in the situation, stand up and say no more. Do not let her threats get to you. Stand up and say ENOUGH! Those of you who don’t know this particular situation but might know one like it, stand up and say ENOUGH! We have a right to live and enjoy.

The Fallen One Frank the Tank 1976-2013 Fallen…..Judas….. Or to those who knew him really well, Frank. It is with a heavy heart that we bid farewell to a man who many of us loved dearly. Some have known him for as many as 20 years , others only a brief time , but no matter how long you knew him, you knew from the moment you met him he was a fighter, a caregiver, a soldier and above all a lover. He loved his family and friends whole heartedly. He never gave less than 110% to those he cared for. He leaves behind a legacy, a legend. He was an avid RP’er for nearly 2 decades, with more then 600+ rp kills under his belt, a fact he was proud to share. He leaves behind in the RP world a father, Raltak. Sons Rhage and Kain, Daughters Claire and Kelia, and Wife Mep. Many close dear friends he considered family, including Azazel, Alexander, and Aura. There are countless others whose lives have been touched by this man. His final days on IMVU he was head of the Fallen Family, flowers where sent to the funeral home irl on their behalf. Role-play vs Real Life An article by KeilaDoll and SavarothHeliosNoir It has become a pleasure to many to partake in roleplay, but have they forgotten that their is a reality behind each character they come along? Recently there has been many risings and squalls due to people’s lack of ability to look past the character in a scene. In many role plays there are a good side and an evil side. When a person takes part in an role play they meet a CHARACTER. Each character is made by just another human being behind a screen; And each character played is just another act put on. The world of role play is no different then a performance held in Theatre Arts. It is well known that if a person watches a play with good and evil, they do not judge the person partaking the role of the evil; as they are aware that it is only an act put on to entertain an audience. While the role play in which many partake online is not set in front of an audience, it is however; meant to entertain and cause reactions. It’s purpose is character portrayal in a generated setting, with themes, and other characters created by other people to take part in the stories. They act their parts, and when they leave the setting, their acting time is done til they return to the set. Do all people believe that when an actor, or actress plays a part in any movie, that’s definitively how they, as themselves are, In Real Life away from script, and set? How about those in theater arts, and the like? When they’re on stage, they’re portraying by what’s expected of their character, or script, sometimes with a little improv if the script seems to have left out some seemingly minor detail. But when the play is over, those people are no longer the parts they played; simply another person taking on the daily tasks of life. There in recent was a person who partook in several role plays, whom had not been the good person to many, and made several role based threats to other characters in the scene of which his character was apart of. As Tybalt and Romeo’s families were at war in their scene, they threatened each other, but we as an audience do not dislike the one who played those characters in Romeo and Juliet; for we knew that they were only playing their part. This same man who played these roles, was also a loving, kind, and gentle man in his real life. He had a family and kids, and even online he had a family and kids. Not too long ago that man passed on, and the reaction has left myself as a person in shock. Few people who knew him or ever role played with him, could look past the character/s he had played, and harrassed those mourning his loss. The man who was only another actor, was on knowledge of his passing; disrespected and put down for an act that was not his true person. The ones who did know the real person behind the screen, and wanted to mourn harrassed and left even more hurt over his loss. The reality behind it all was the lack of people to remember that he was only another person. People chose not to see past the role play scene and into reality. In conclusion there is nothing more disappointing than the one who has lost sense of reality and has brought hurt upon another who had caused no REAL harm.

D.M.A. modeling is co-owned by IMVU creator xXMuseaXx and is sponsored by Yssandre, Snow White Morte, and Forge Publications. D.M.A Elite Models, once known as D.M.A was originally founded in 2012, by Drew Montee, Musea and a fellow member and judge Keisha. outs. Though at first it seemed successful. The company owner lacked of vision and experience at the time; and consequently, the agency went down and closed. The employees got disappointed with the results and eventually left. Some went to work for other companies, while other just took care of their own groups. A year later (2013) the former owner returned, and after months of research and new experience, he decided to re-open the company. He contacted his former co-workers, and also recruited a few others to assist him with his new goal. A new plan was made and a new name for the company was chosen, as well as a new tag line.

Developers and Creators are very welcome into their business and have been invited to take part as their company sponsors. All in order to raise a group fund that will allow them to run the awesome contests that will take place here and at the rooms. Once they pay a fee of 2k per month they get a chance to promote themselves by getting their own Developer thread + their banner placed on the soapbox. They look forward to promote as many creators and developer as they can. All as a thank you for their wonderful job and support they show to their company. This, they hope, will be achieved not only by placing banners and giving the creators their own

thread but also by modeling their stuff and leaving nice reviews when the items are either gifted or bought. So show your support by buying their products and leaving nice reviews. After all, they are who make all this possible. The staff is very much about priority and are also coming up with a Fashion magazine in which to feature the creators and the models that work at D.M.A. Modeling. It is with extreme pleasure that once the magazine is up and ready that Forge Publications will be sponsoring the magazine on it’s own website.

To join D.M.A modeling, please contact either DrewMontee or xXMuseaXx to find out where you can fill out the application. Please remember when applying, it doesn’t matter if you had experience or not. It matters if you have the drive, the will, and the intelligence to do what you want to do and be the best at what you do.

Oz: The Prequel Disney delivers the prequel to legend This March will mark a special triumph in the career of family movies made by the Disney Company. After gaining the rights to produce L. The line up for the all-star movie is: James Franco, Rachel Weisz, Mila Kunis, and Michelle Willaims.

Oz: The Prequel

Introducing the Wizard of Oz In “The Wizard of Oz” starring Judy Garland, we were introduced to many characters, including one character that started out as a giant floating green head that turned out to be a very short old man. This character we would find out to be an ordinary man from Omaha, Nebraska who got whisked away from his homeland in his hot air balloon to the Land of Oz. This man was known to everyone in Oz as the Wizard. To the ordinary folk, he was known as Oscar Diggs, traveling magician. In the new Disney movie, “Oz: The Great and Powerful”, we get a different view of 38 Forge Magazine

the floating head than we did previously. James Franco starring as Oscar Diggs, we find out through the teaser trailers, that he was prophosized to come to Oz to bring the land to peace. The first Witch to stand next to him is Theodora. Glinda would soon follow. The third Witch is Evanora who doubts that Oscar Diggs is the great man that they are waiting for. Oscar Diggs is searching for fame and fortune as any other human being would be. He leaves the circus in his hot air balloon in hopes of finding such a land that would give him what he seeks. He is swept away

in a tornado to the Land of Oz and greeted by Theodora. From there, he is offered great wealth if he can do what they want him to. Now in light of the books and the other movie that was made after the 1939 movie, will we get to see the Wizard dethrone the rightful ruler of Oz and hide Princess Ozma away? We have yet to find out if the primary characters will be introduced and if we will see the appearance of the famed ruby slippers. We’re off to see the Wizard of March 8th.

The Wicked Witch?? Just who is the Wicked Witch that is depicted in the poster? Glinda, the good Witch of the North. Glinda appeared in the 1939 movie in a pink glittery gown and high silver crown. She rode around in a huge pink bubble everywhere she went. Evanora, the Wicked Witch of the East. We never really get a good look at the Wicked Witch of the East in the 1939 movie. The only good look we got was her feet underneath Dorothy’s house with the ruby slippers on. So could she have been a little green like her sister, the Wicked Witch of the West? Theodora, the Wicked Witch of the West. We know that in the 1939 movie, the Wicked Witch of the West is indeed a little green. But is she the main antagonist in this prequal to the story?

No matter the theme in the group, it is strongy encouraged that you use creativity and twist the theme in to your own. The more demented, the better.

Belladonna: What kinds of things do you enjoy creating?

Just Desserts opened the first part of this year. I felt that it was time for a change with contest groups closing left and right. I wanted something that more reflected my catalogue items and allowed a place for everyone to compete. It is meant to be cute and sweet.. Pretty much the opposite of everything Demented Desserts stands for.

Jakx: Anything androgynous is fun for me. Nothing really makes me happier than when someone cannot tell whether an outfit I have created is for males or females. I also really love bright colors and animal prints. Really anything that is meant to get attention in a crowded room.

Two contests a month are held in each group. One edited and one unedited. Prize bundles, credits and stickers are gifted to the winners. The amount of the prizes are always based on the amount of sponsors in the group. The winners are decided by the votes of myself and the sponsors.

Belladonna: Is there anything you would change about IMVU’s creator program? If so what might that be?

Belladonna: Do you have any advice for new developers?

Jakx: Early in 2010 when I felt the need to put my creativity in to something other than the DOC and contest groups. I’ve been pretty happy with that decision.

Jakx: Peer review. It doesn’t work. Never has. Never will. Belladonna: Can you tell the readers a little bit about your two groups, Demented Desserts and Just Desserts? Houdini’s Death was attributed to an event that happened in his dressing room. A college student asked Houdini if he could really withstand any punch in the abdomen to which Houdini replied that he could. He was punched several times. He then died two days later of a ruptured appendix. Harry Houdini, born Eric Weisz, was born on March 24, 1874. He became known as “Harry Handcuff”. He was an American stunt performer. He met his wife, Wilhelmina Beatrice (Bess) Rahner while working in a show with his brother. They married in 1894. He was an aviator, trapeze artist, and an actor. In 1918, he signed up for selective service under the name of Harry Handcuff Houdini. He later became a skeptic of those claiming they had supernatural powers. This led to him and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, author of the Sherlock Holmes books, to discontinue their friendship. Houdini died on October 31, 1926.

Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius -- and a lot of courage -- to move in the opposite direction.” Albert Einstein was a German-born theoretical physicist who developed the general theory of relativity, one of the two pillars of modern physics. While best known for his mass–energy equivalence formula E = mc2, which has been dubbed “the world’s most famous equation”, he received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics “for his services to theoretical physics, and especially for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect”. The latter was pivotal in establishing quantum theory. He was visiting the United States when Adolf Hitler came to power in 1933, and did not go back to Germany, where he had been a professor at the Berlin Academy of Sciences. He settled in the U.S., becoming a citizen in 1940. On the eve of World War II, he helped alert President Franklin D. Roosevelt that Germany might be developing an atomic weapon, and recommended that the U.S. begin similar research; this eventually led to what would become the Manhattan Project. Einstein was in support of defending the Allied forces, but largely denounced using the new discovery of nuclear fission as a weapon. Later, with the British philosopher Bertrand Russell, Einstein signed the Russell–Einstein Manifesto, which highlighted the danger of nuclear weapons. Einstein was affiliated with the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, New Jersey, until his death in 1955.

St. Patrick’s Day: Behind the Shamrock It commemorates Saint Patrick (AD 387-461), the most commonly recognized of the patron saints of Ireland and the arrival of Christianity in Ireland. Celebrated on March 17, the anniversary of his death. Saint Patrick used the shamrock to explain the Holy Trinity to the pagan parish. He would show the shamrock to illustrate the Christian teaching of three persons in one God. The shamrock had been seen as sacred in the pre-Christian days in Ireland. Due to its green color and overall shape, many viewed it as representing rebirth and eternal life.

In 1903, Saint Patrick’s Day became an official public holiday in Ireland. This was thanks to the Bank Holiday (Ireland) Act 1903, an act of the United Kingdom Parliament introduced by Irish Member of Parliament James O’Mara. O’Mara later introduced the law that required that pubs and bars be closed on 17 March after drinking got out of hand, a provision that was repealed in the 1970s. The first Saint Patrick’s Day parade held in the Irish Free State was held in Dublin in 1931.

Laurionna Aleaha: What got you into creating? Laurionna: Hmmm, I think it was that no one had what I wanted. So i figured I would make my own and wear it or use it. Aleaha: That’s a good reason to create. Many people find it difficult to create when they first start out. Did you teach yourself or have someone to assist you and guide you through the process? Laurionna: I had a bit of help when I started. They helped me with learning how to manipulate textures. Many do not have help. It is very hard to get started. Aleaha: I hear those can be very challenging. Did you find creating and making textures difficult at first? Laurionna: Yes at first. But the more you do it the more you learn. I like to make low kb items. So I learned how to manipulate textures to make everything low in kbs. Aleaha: That’s good. Some rooms only allow people to enter if they’re below certain kbs. I saw some of your products. Many look to be wild, sexy, romantic, elegant, etc. What would you say your genre is? Laurionna: haha spur of the moment? If I see something I like I make it. I want to learn to make gowns though. I wear gowns all the time. Aleaha: I can tell. You have a very nice taste in clothing. Laurionna: Aww, thank you so much darlin’. Aleaha: Lots of people love to listen to music while creating or have some background noise. What helps you to create and concentrate? Laurionna: A lot of things I make are also for my friends. The radio.

Interview: Laurionna

Aleaha: The radio’s always good too.

Laurionna: Coffee to wake me up and sugar to keep me going.

Laurionna: I have over 18,000 songs on my computer also. So i put it on shuffle and listen because I am a dj.

Aleaha: Best combo ever! How long have you been creating?

Aleaha: Wow. That’s a good strategy.

Laurionna: hmmm, about two years. I do it for fun though. I enjoy when I make something and make someone happy.

Laurionna: Even us old people have fun.

Aleaha: Yeah, you feel really good about yourself.

Aleaha: There’s no such thing as old.

Laurionna: Ah, and to see someone smile. Many are in it to make money. Well then it would be a job. I make many credits but still have fun.

Laurionna: haha, be with me when I get up in the morning. Aleaha: I wouldn’t be able to. I’m not much of a morning person. Laurionna. haha, me either darling. Got to have my coffee first. Aleaha: What’s your favorite coffee?

Aleaha: Yeah. My teacher once said if you are just in it for the money, you won’t be happy. Get a job you like no matter how much the pay. You’ll love it and enjoy it either way. Laurionna: Sure will. Good teacher. Imvu is supposed to be enjoyed. I sure don’t pay my money to stress out.

Laurionna: Ah, coffee with some cinnamon sugar. Aleaha: It is. Many just make it a dread to go on somedays. Aleaha: Yum. 52 forge magazine

Laurionna: So I do. I create when it hits me. Many times for days. Then take a break. But also like when I do a room with furniture it may take me up to a month to finish it.

Laurionna: Many years of investigations. Yes. 17 years. Teaches you to observe. I was a military dog handler/trainer. Aleaha: Oh wow. That must’ve been a fun job.

Aleaha: Is there anything specific that makes those wheels in your head turn and sparks you with ideas? Laurionna: I am very picky. Listening to people talk.

Laurionna: Ah it was the best. Now it’s time to relax and enjoy life. Aleaha: Has the army ever inspired you as well on styles, textures, color combinations, etc?

Aleaha: Ah yes. You, yourself, are your worst critic. Laurionna: If you really sit and listen you hear what people really like. For instance, a lady buys a gown. She says she loves it. But as you listen, she begins to tell you what she wishes the gown had. Aleaha: Ah. You must be a very good listener then.

Laurionna: In a way yes. I lived in camo green for years. You won’t see I think anything green in my catty. I think I make things depending on the style. Aleaha: Well we’re nearing the end of the interview, sadly. Is there anything you’d like to add? Tips for new creators? Something random?

Laurionna: Learned it from the army hun. Aleaha: You were in the army?

Laurionna: Ah tips to new creators. Anyone can create but it takes an imagination and patience to make wonderful things. If you are new don’t just slap things together. Take your time and make it worth it. Also, I love helping new people and anyone needs help, forge magazine 53

The Style of Laurionna I will if I can. I wish more creators would help the junior creators. Oh and on more thing, if you should get to be up there, don’t forget where you came from and help those just starting. Aleaha: Very deep words of the wise. You’re a very kind and heartfelt person. Hopefully everyone will be inspired by you and take your words of wisdom. On behalf of myself and Forge Publications, I thank you so much for taking this time and doing an interview for our mag.

Dr. Seuss: Child Legend

“I know it is wet and the sun is not sunny, but we can have lots of good fun that is funny.” The expressive words from the children’s classic, Cat in the Hat, written by Dr. Seuss. Theodor Seuss Geisel (March 2, 1904 – September 24, 1991) was an American writer, poet, and cartoonist most widely known for his children’s books written under the pen names Dr. Seuss, Theo LeSieg and, in one case, Rosetta Stone. Geisel published 46 children’s books, 70 forge magazine

which were often characterized by imaginative characters, rhyme, and frequent use of anapestic meter. His most celebrated books include the bestselling Green Eggs and Ham, The Cat in the Hat, One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, Horton Hatches the Egg,Horton Hears a Who!, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas!. Numerous adaptations of his work have been created, including 11 television specials, four feature films, a Broadway musical and four television series. He won the Lewis Carroll Shelf Award in 1958 for Horton Hatches the Egg and again in 1961 for And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry

Street. Geisel also worked as an illustrator for advertising campaigns, most notably for Flit and Standard Oil, and as a political cartoonist for PM, a New York City newspaper. During World War II, he worked in an animation department of the United States Army, where he wrote Design for Death, a film that later won the 1947 Academy Award for Documentary Feature. He was a perfectionist in his work and he would sometimes spend up to a year on a book. It was not uncommon for him to throw out 95% of his material until he settled on a theme for his book. For a wri-

ter he was unusual in that he preferred to only be paid after he finished his work rather than in advance. Geisel’s birthday, March 2, has been adopted as the annual date for National Read Across America Day, an initiative on reading created by the National Education Association.

Geisel died of throat cancer on September 24, 1991, at his home in La Jolla at the age of 87. He was cremated and his ashes were scattered. On December 1, 1995, four years after his death, University of California, San Diego’s University Library Building was renamed Geisel Library in honor of Geisel and Audrey for the generous contributions they made to the library and their devotion to improving literacy.

Though he devoted most of his life to writing children’s books, Geisel had no children of his own. He would say, when asked about this, “You have ‘em; I’ll entertain ‘em.” 71 forge magazine

back story has been released along with a boyfriend and several friends and family members.

Barbie Doll was from the imagination of one pre-teen girl and her mother. Ruth Handler watched her daughter play with her paper dolls and thought that it would be a good move to make a plastic adult doll that girls could play with. If it had not been for a trip to Europe and seeing the German dolls, Bild Lilli Doll, Barbie would not have become a reality. Barbie made her debute March 12, 1959 at a toy fair in New York. Since her creation, her

Now there were many controversies over Barbie. The main one was how unrealistic her body was. The fear was that girls

would take this as how they really should look. When Barbie was released she would have been the height of 5’9 (she was scaled 1/6). She would have weighed about 110 lbs with the measurements of 36, 18, 33. This, according to doctors, would have been the criteria for anorexia. Since then, Barbie’s body has been redone to give her a more realistic look to the girls of todays age. Barbie keeps rocking for the girls in the world that love her. She continues to grow as they do. So get your girl a Barbie Doll.

Handler got the idea for the Barbie Doll line from her pre-teen daughter, Barbara, who played with paper dolls and gave them adult roles. She stood by the Barbie line until her death in 2002 from Colon Cancer. Before her death, in 1970, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She founded the Ruthton Corp which manufactured breast prosthesis called “Nearly Me.

Taking A Chance on Love

You Call Me Your Enemy

She sees him from across the room, her heart quickens at the mere sight of him,

You call me your enemy,

She loves everything about him, His voice, his smile, his smell,

Yet I extended my hand in friendship. You called your enemy,

She was lost in this thought when he touched her. Something was different, this look, a look she had never seen before. Her heart skipped a few beats and she held her breath as he spoke.

Yet when you needed shelter I built you a house. You call me your enemy, Yet when you were hungry, I gave you foot and plated you a garden.

“Hon, we need to talk.” Those words echoing through her brain, she fled his sight. She knew all to well what words follow that statement. She gathered her composer, wiped her tears and faced him once again.

You call me your enemy, Yet when others threatened you, I came to your defense.

“Hon, It is not you, it is me, I have changed. “ “I want to be free.” “I want us to be friends if that is at all possible.” She gasped, fighting back the flood of tears. Her heart stopped.

You call me your Enemy, Only because I am an American.

Her chest hurt, but she could not breathe. Her life had just been shattered. He meant everything to her. She could not imagine a life with out him. Once again she fled so he would not see her despair. Months past, she could not eat nor sleep. He haunted her every minute. The wind carried his scent. She could see his face when she closed her eyes as if his image had been seared into her eyelids. The stillness of the night she would hear his voice. There was not a moment she did not think of him. She felt utterly alone, more alone than she ever dreamed. She wanted him to hurt as she did, but eventually she knew there was no way possible for him to feel any thing remotely similar to her pain, for he was the one who left her. So she picks herself up once again, and swears she would never again be hurt. She felt that a life alone was better than taking the chances of being hurt again. So she picks herself up once again, and swears she would never again be hurt. She felt that a life alone was better than taking the chances of being hurt again.
