What you need to know about disposable protection

We offer disposable products for medical, food safe, and industrial-grade use. Disposable protection is ideal for single use to prevent cross-contamination.

Disposable Protection Explained

When looking for disposable protection for medical use, products must be approved as Class II Medical Devices by Health Canada for Canadian products or the FDA for use in the USA. Look for products marked “medical grade” or “for medical use”. When searching for food safe disposable protection, look for the following icon:

Products marked as “industrial grade” or “industrial use only” are not suitable for medical use.

Gloves

A proper fit is extremely important. An uncomfortable fit causes hand fatigue and ultimately could lead to a potential workplace hazard. Measure the width of your hand 1 inch below the base of your first finger and across your knuckles.

5 / 2XS 2.75 inches / 68 mm

6 / XS 3 inches / 76 mm

7 / S 3.25 inches / 84 mm

8 / M 3.75 inches / 94 mm

9 / L 4 inches / 105 mm

Sleeves

To find the best fit, measure the circumference of your bicep and choose the corresponding sleeve size according to the chart below.

2XS 9.75 inches / 250 mm

XS 10.25 inches / 260 mm

S 10.5 inches / 270 mm

Sleeves are available in multiple lengths.

For a more natural fit, some sleeves come in a tapered version which provide better comfort. Tapered sleeves are designed to fit the contours of your arm and won’t lose shape due to stretching (Tapered) (Tubular)

Quick Fit Tips

A good fit is important for comfort and protection. Our measurements offer a starting point, but personal preference is key.

Clothing should fit comfortably without excessive bunching when moving. It shouldn’t be too loose or too tight as that can affect the safety performance.
