Eleventh-Year Head Coach

Brad Jenny Brad Jenny took over the Tiger cross country program in 2002 after serving as an assistant the previous three years. The Tiger program has continued to excel as six athletes have earned AllAmerican status and 34 have been NAIA Scholar-Athletes. In 2006, Brad was named the GPAC Men’s Coach-ofthe-Year after leading the Tigers to a runner-up finish at the conference championship meet. The 2002 women’s squad was named to the NAIA Scholar-Team, placing 5th overall with a 3.52 grade point average. In 2004, the men’s squad placed third with a 3.60 GPA. The 2005 men’s squad also placed third, posting a 3.53 GPA. The NAIA Scholar-Team Award was changed during the 2006-2007 season, taking in account all athletes that were out for the sport, not just the varsity athletes. The 2006 women’s team posted a 3.50 GPA. In 2007 and 2008, both the men’s and women’s squads earned the Scholar-Team Award. The women’s team earned the honor again in 2009 and 2010 and posted the best GPA in the athletic department. In 2010, they had a GPA of 3.64 which ranked 27th best in the NAIA for all qualifying athletic teams (934). In 2009, he saw one of his athletes, Mary Livengood, inducted into the NAIA Hall-of-Fame during the NAIA Track & Field National Championships in Marion, Indiana. Under Jenny’s guidance, Edwin Ronoh became the first male individual champion for Doane College in the conference meet since 1987 when he claimed victory in 2011. Ronoh’s efforts earned him the men’s GPAC Runner-of-the-Year honor. Brad, a 1994 Doane graduate, serves as the long distance coach for the track and field team in addition to his cross country duties. He is married to Jennifer (Einspahr) Jenny, 1999 Doane graduate, and they reside in Crete with their son, Miles.

Create an account with a valid email address. Pay the one-time registration fee ($60 domestic students / US$85 international students) or indicate qualification for a fee waiver.

Within the online registration you will create a profile including:

About Me - Includes basic contact information, previous residences during high school and any military service history My Academic Info - Records the student’s high school experience (including home school and GED) and colleges attended for transfers or current NAIA students. My Sports Experience - Collects information on athletic experiences outside of the high school setting. My NAIA Connections is an optional feature that allows a student to create an additional Sport Resume that can be shared with NAIA institutions. Once the online registration is complete, the prospective student submits the profile to the NAIA Eligibility Center for evaluation.

Test scores When a prospective student-athlete takes the ACT or SAT, he/she must specify the code “9876” when registering for the exam in order to have the test scores sent directly to the NAIA Eligibility Center. Please register with the NAIA Eligibility Center before having your test scores sent.

Transcript Upon graduation from high school, transferring from a two- or four-year college, or completing one or more semesters at an NAIA school, prospective student-athlete must ask their high school guidance counselors or college registrars to send official transcripts to the NAIA Eligibility Center. Official transcripts must be: • Stamped with the official school seal and/or signature, and • Sent in an official school envelope that is marked by a school official over the seal, showing that a school official was the last person to handle the document. If you are sending transcripts from several schools, you can place the already sealed official transcripts into one, larger envelope and mail them together. Transcripts received directly from students/parents without the school-sealed envelope are not official and will not be accepted. Please register with the NAIA Eligibility Center and complete your academic information before having transcripts sent. This will allow you to generate your personal transcript cover page you can give to your school to be mailed with your documents. NOTE: Students who finish their junior year with an overall 3.00 GPA on a 4.00 scale, and have at least an 18 ACT or 860 SAT test score, can receive an early eligibility decision. Those students should request their high school send an official transcript at the end of their junior year.
