The Writer’s Abode Fully exposed to the earth, the writer’s studio digs down to find the truth. The living space is elevated, light-hearted and enclosed upon itself, to give the writer a space to unwind.

The Galt Hotel Influenced by the desire to interact with the city yet provide a sanctuary after the exhaustion of travel, this hotel aims to act as a mediator between downtown Galt and the private rooms. The spaces are set up to allow for varied exposures to the lush vegetation within the courtyard.

East Humber Bird Sanctuary The East Humber Bird Sanctuary was developed as a response to where a modern zoo fits into our lives: by providing a safe haven for animals, a refuge of the daily world for visitors, and mainly to provide an instinctual connection to nature in the individual who explores on their own.
Island + Healing This narrative project explores the concepts of island and healing and finds a relationship through architectural imagination and instinct. The final form of the narrative as a video can be seen at https://vimeo.com/50265209
Bee + Vessel In collaboration with Amina Lalor, we explored the ideas of bees and vessels and how that could become an installation. Bees work hard together to perpetuate their life cycle, while impacting larger ecological cycles than their own. Everyone worked together for a common goal as bees do, and were given a sweet reward in return.
The River Centre Located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, The River Centre is an office building close to the river’s edge and recreational pathways. When I was involved in the project I was responsible for completing the development permit revision drawings, as well as designing options for lobby floor patterns.

An Art Institution An Art Institution required a feasibility study to be produced to apply for funding for more students. Throughout the entire project, I was involved with creating the document, developing diagrams, taking photographs of the current building, and calculating area needed for the specified program.
Mount Norquay Placeworks design was approached by Mount Norquay to put together concept images of potential summer programming expansion. My role in the project was involved with developing the concept, as well as producing the images and discussing other options of renovations and restoring of the tea house.
Light in the City Manhattan in the morning in October is like nothing else. The light quality as expressed in these photographs was the best welcome to a city anyone could have.
Land of Details The texture, colour, and feel of things has always interested me. These photographs show some of my experiences from the last few years that encapsulate those kinds of moments. More inspirations of mine can be seen on my tumblelog desireegeib.tumblr.com
