What are you currently doing with yourself? I’m currently studying Graphic Design full time and drawing/painting when I can. Do you consider yourself a designer or an artist? A bit of both, I guess. I much prefer the art side of things to design work, as there is more freedom. But both aspects have their place. What work do you mainly focus on and who are your main influences? Mainly focusing on Illustration and Street Art. That’s a pretty difficult question to answer. But to name a couple I’d have to go with Stay Bold, Chris Yee and both James Reka and Vans the Omega are also killing it at the moment. Where do you see yourself in the near future? Fingers crossed I’ll be graduating from college in a few months haha... Then the plan is to paint as much as I can and hopefully head overseas towards the end of next year. What’s your favourite youtube video? ‘Bottle Cap Blues’

What are you currently doing with yourself? I’m studying Graphic Design at CATC and doing some freelance photography work on the side. Do you consider yourself a designer or an artist? That’s a tough one. My organised and methodical side would say designer, and my messy, painter side would say artist. Definitely a split personality. Who is your favourite artist and what are your main influences? James Jean has been my favourite artist for as long as I can remember. His work is absolutely beautiful and twisted at the same time. I like any art that has got a high level of detail and skill with a bit of a dark side too. I’m influenced by so many things, but mainly skulls and bones. I like pretty macabre stuff. Where do you see yourself in the near future? Hopefully working as a Graphic Designer in a smallish studio where I can learn the ropes and get a taste for everything. I’d also like to have my own freelance illustration business. What’s your favourite youtube video? I don’t really go on youtube much unless it’s for music. I like putting Michael Jackson playlists on ‘cause his dancing is so insane!’ I may or may not know the whole choreography to Thriller.

What are you currently doing with yourself? I’m Studying a diploma of Graphic Design at CATC design school. Do you consider yourself a designer or an artist? I consider myself a designer, although I really enjoy art and drawing. Who is your favourite artist and what are your main influences? At this point in time I’m going to say that Sara Blake is my favourite artist/illustrator simply for the fact of her process starting from a hand drawn piece and ending up with a digitally rendered piece. She has done some amazing work for some big brands and that really inspires me to become a better illustrator. Where do you see yourself in the near future? In the near future I hopefully see myself working for an agency doing publishing. Becoming a freelance illustrator would be the dream job, it would be hard work, but very rewarding. What’s your favourite youtube video? Favourite youtube video would have to be Mr. trololo, it’s so random and makes me laugh every time I watch it.

What are you currently doing with yourself? Sitting on my bed in my onesie watching seventh heaven thinking about what I’m doing with my life. I wish I could say travelling the world, learning French and other languages, in an important… suit or something. But I’m not. But seriously… I’m studying graphic design at CATC design school. And I love it. Do you consider yourself a designer or an artist? An artist. Who is your favourite artist and what are your main influences? I have so matny. But I think my all time favourite is Stina Persson… Or Tracey Emin. Stina Persson has so many different styles and such a distinct feel. I love the shape of her lines. Whereas I love the way Tracey Emin is so comfortable with her distorted characters. You can feel the pain and confusion she feels come through in her art. They are so pure. I love them both so much. Where do you see yourself in the near future? Standing in a puddle somewhere in the rain wearing socks and sandals… I have organised to put some of my art in a couple of galleries around the place. So hopefully growing off that. What’s your favourite youtube video? Educating Yorkshire - Musharaf overcomes his stammer.
