FRANKLIN COUNTY DETENTION OPERATIONS MASTER PLAN COLUMBUS, OHIO DLZ developed a long term Jail Master Plan for Franklin County that went beyond the statistical projection of future needs and examined the forces that shaped the jail population in the past and identified opportunities to adjust criminal justice system practices to change future jail needs. The report also included a facility life-cycle evaluation of the building systems and components. BERRIEN COUNTY SOUTH COURTHOUSE NILES, MICHIGAN This $5.3 million, 32,000 square foot court addition features courtrooms strategically located along the inner wall of the corridor to create a secured and controlled enviornment. Support offices are located on the outer radius of the corridor to shield the interior spaces of the building. The addition also houses judges’ chambers, district court administration, clerk of courts, prosecutor, misdemeanor, juvenile and felony probation, and offender holding and processing.
