What do you think of when you hear the word “smile? A friendly hello? A sign of happiness? Unfortunately, not everyone is all smiles when it comes to theirs, and for any of those individuals living in the Las Vegas Valley, they have Sandra Lee, DMD, and her team at Flamingo Smiles Dentistry to help them.
As the new owner of Flamingo Smiles, Lee is proud to have opened her office in her hometown. Born and raised in Las Vegas and a UNLV School of Dentistry grad, Dr. Lee specializes in general dentistry, but her passion is in cosmetics. “It’s a combination of art and science, all while tailoring a smile that is specific and perfect for my patients,” says Lee with a...smile. (Wink) Dr. Lee and her team uses dentistry’s latest technology including same day crowns with the CEREC CAD/CAM machine, digital radiography and laser technology to address periodontal disease. Dr. Lee’s same day crowns includes crowns made from zirconia which are one the strongest materials found in dental labs.

Dr. Lee not only prides herself on offering the best technology to her patients, but she also believes that the patient comes first. “From the moment my patient walks through our door to when they leave, the experience is comfortable and personable,” says Dr. Lee. “We offer heated blankets if a patient is cold, Chapstick if their lips are dry…[and] there is always coffee!” And, Dr. Lee is as proud of her office as she is of being a true Las Vegan. “It’s important, as a Las Vegas native, to give back to your community,” she says after sharing a story of how she and her team donated over $10,000 in dental work to those who don’t have access to dental care.
