NEW! Murder Mystery Dinner!

18 yrs + / TBD / $45 Attention Gumshoes! Try an evening of murder mystery theatre. Once you enroll for this event, you are sent your character description, costume suggestions and the background story. During the evening, your character receives additional clues for your character and the murder, which is revealed to the rest of the characters over the evening. 18 yrs + / 8 wks starting Oct 21 / $35 + $10 materials Our choir returns for a second season! Do you like to sing but don’t like classical music or religious hymns? Adults who don’t have time for a full theatre production, but enjoy performing in a group, learn to sing and harmonize while having fun in a creative environment! Beginners and experienced singers welcome. Led by a professional choir director, learn entertaining secular music pieces including but not limited to Broadway show tunes, Pop/ Rock hits, comedic parodies or old classics updated for a contemporary audience. Selections for this season may include winter- and holiday-themed songs (non-denominational) from movies, pop, Broadway and traditional. Learn some basic techniques for singing and learn how to harmonize, both with accompaniment and a cappella. Musical accompaniment may be via pre-recorded instrumentals (Karaoke style) or live musicians, depending on resources. Movement may be included to enhance performance. No auditions are necessary except when Director assigns solos for select songs. If clothing/costumes or props are needed, all members participate in creating them. All participants must be able to function in an inclusive setting. Season ends with a public performance on Saturday, December 21 (7 PM) with other possibilities to be discussed in class.
