LETTER FROM THE CHAPTER

PRESIDENTS Dear Delegates, Throughout the course of history, Presidents have come, and gone, economies have enlarged, and diminished, families brought together, and destroyed; but throughout these changes and crises, the Junior State of America has continued to exist, to flourish, and to stand the tests of time. The Junior State of America is a special organization, and one very close to my heart. Pushed into the trenches of high school, JSA has become my home, has made me resilient, and has made me the best version of myself. Through the thousands of crises, a high school student faces, JSA has remained constant in my life, and has never let me down. We do not know what the future holds for our country, this world, and our beloved organization. But I do know that as long JSA continues to be a student-run organization, for the students and by the students, any crisis can be solved. Thank you for coming to this convention, and thank you for your loyalty and dedication towards JSA. I hope that today, in a time of great crisis, you reach outside of your comfort zone, and participate and engage on a deeper level. It will surprise you how impactful just a few courageous words can be. I will end with the reminder that in JSA, we critique ideas, not the people who generate them. Speak openly and with integrity, and I promise that your voice will be valued, no matter the crisis. Sincerely, Divya Seth- Interlake Chapter President Sidney Hershey- Skyline Co-Chapter President Ryan Ducich- Skyline Co-Chapter President
