The site for this project is in Lonavala. Through this project I have displayed the concept of minimalism and used basic geometry to show how strong its impact is to the human eye. Basic geometry in the real world can create illusion yet be real. The idea was to create simple yet impactful spaces for displaying art. The structure has a central space which has a waterbody. This waterbody depicts beauty and simplicity. Arrangement of rocks in the landscape as a piece of art as we enter the art gallery Gazebos in the site for tourists to relax and enjoy their time in the art gallery Parking for two wheelers and four wheelers and travel buses.

DESIGN INTENT: TO CREATE A CAMPUS EXTENTION IN PUNE AN EDUCATION HUB IN MAHARASHTRA. DESIGN APPROACH: A CAMPUS THAT SHOWS FLOW,SIMPLISTIC APPROACH OF DESIGN FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THE USER.

PARKING

In our site the contour gets steeper as it goes higher. In the chosen part of the site , the contour is not so steep and number of trees is less. Hence the structure could be build in this area as less trees could be cut. The idea is to save the ecology and create a tropical environment around the campus.Flow is depicted by parallel projections and straight lines and using ramps as an important feaures.

The industrial revolution is one of the most far reaching historical phenomena man has encountered.The required housing is for the industrial people wrking for M.I.D.C. The required housing projects need a 3bhk, 2 and 1.5 Bhk and 1rk. The proposed site is located at talegaon dhabade, a historic city, a town with a municipal council in malvan taluka, pune district in the indian state of maharashtra. This town is 120 kms from mumbai and 35kms from pune.

'Why look up to the sky, heaven is here and so am I...'

ANDC (Annual NASA Design Competition) by NASA INDIA in 2017 was an opportunity for me to showcase my skills as a leader and a potential team member. The design challenge was to convert an abundant area into an urban interactive space. The site selected by the team was an old newspaper stand in Akurdi, Pune. This newspaper stand was neglected from a long time and was a drunk yard and dumping area for the people living around. The idea was to create attractive and an appealing space for the interaction of people living around. The concept was to create a space using waste materials such as tin boxes, plastic bottles in the dump rather than using some expensive, readily available materials in the market. It created and showcased awareness amongst people on social isuues in the form of an interesting game of snake and ladder on the wooden backdrop.

THE AREA HIGHLIGHTED COMES UNDER SECTOR C .IT IS MAINLY KNOW N AS BAZAAR PETH AREA. THE COMMUNITIES RESIDING IN THIS AREA INCLUDE PEOPLE AS DIVERSE AS FROM GUJARATI TO MARW ADI TO MAHARASHTRIANS TO TELI COMMUNITY. THE POPULATION OF THIS AREA VARIES FROM 750 TO 800 PEOPLE, CONSTITUTING 60% MALE AND 40% FEMALE POPULATION. MAJOR OCCUPATION OF THE PEOPLE RESIDING HERE ARE GROCERY STORES ON THE GROUND FLOOR OF THEIR HOUSES,TALORING SHOPS, JW ELERS, BANGLE SHOPS, ETC. THE MAJOR GATHERING POINT OF THIS AREA ARE SUBHASH CHOW K, TELIYALI CHOW K AND SHALA CHOW K. SUBHAS CHOW K BEING THE MAJOR LANDMARK, W HERE THE SUNDAY MARKET IS SETUP. N THE STRUCTURES HERE ARE OF MIXED USE, I.E. RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL USE. THE ROADS HERE HAVE NO CONSTANT W IDTH.
