We have always recognized the unfortunate fact that the trade show industry is one of the worlds most wasteful industries. In doing so we have continually strived to improve the fuel efficiency of our vehicles, re-used and refurbished older display components and minimized the amount of waste sent to landfills from our shop, office and warehouse. Our 45,000 square foot facility is a completely modernized former clothing manufacturing facility.

Since 2009 Diversified Exposition Services has been a part of the SmartWay Transport Partnership, an innovative collaboration between U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the freight industry.

Our efforts will contribute to the Partnership’s goal to reduce 33 to 66 million metric tons of carbon dioxide and up to 200,000 tons of nitrogen oxide per year by 2012. By joining SmartWay Transport Partnership, Diversified Exposition Services demonstrates its continuing dedication to bring environmentally friendly solutions to our industry.

Diversified Exposition Services is the only Mobile Marketing company to have joined the SmartWay partnership.

Save the Crate! The handcrafted mini transportation crate is made of domestic laminated hardwoods and assembled in our own shop by oldworld skilled craftsmen. Unlike cheap plastic imported giveaways commonly associated with the trade show industry, this crate is built to last. Reuse it to hold your business cards, phone accessories, pens and pencils, old trade show badges or anything else you can think of.

Challenge: Makita USA “Experience More” Tour Client’s Goal: Launch and maintain a year-round mobile tour involving 3-4 events per week. Client’s Challenge: Makita decided to provide their own account management and tie the mobile tour into existing marketing efforts. They were in need of a turnkey solution to provide a tour operator, and tractor. Solution: Diversified Exposition Services provided the tractor, tour operator, and management of all administrative, regulatory and personnel requirements. All tour operator vacation and personal days are handled seamlessly without client intervention and without delaying or postponing the tour.

After a successful first year, the Makita Experience More Tour has continued for over 5 consecutive years.

Challenge: Hankook Performance Tire Tour Client’s Goal: Continue a nationwide mobile tour to create an “at the race” on-site tire store, bringing their products to car enthusiasts. Client’s Challenge: The weak economic climate led to a reduction in budget and threatened to cancel the tour. Solution:

By listening to the client and examining their needs Diversified Exposition Services was able to implement a cost effective tour program. This allowed the tour to continue without interruption and Hankook was able to meet their goals.

Challenge: Piper Aircraft Client’s Goal: Expand the current trade show schedule to include a mockup of the new Piper Jet aircraft. Client’s Challenge: The mock-up was ordered and produced without the production company considering the transportation needs. The resulting product was crateable but not readily showable without serious effort. Piper wanted to increase the public’s awareness of the Piper Jet and show it at more events. Solution: After careful consideration of all the alternatives Diversified Exposition Services turned to a curtain sided trailer for ease of deployment. The mock-up storage components were then modified to fit within the trailer and cut the speed in which the mock-up was unloaded and set up at a show site in half. Also by having the product branding printed on the sides of the trailer it also served as a mobile billboard for all of the client’s outdoor events – increasing brand awareness.

Challenge: Diamond Aircraft Client’s Goal: After unveiling the new D-Jet very light jet, Diamond Aircraft identified a need to keep the newly built mock-up in front of the public eye. Client’s Challenge: Market research demonstrated to Diamond that potential customers were unwilling to pay deposits on pre-production aircraft without having seen a mock-up of the proposed aircraft. Diamond set a marketing objective to maintain set sales goals by taking the mock-up on tour between established trade shows and showing it at dealer events.

Solution: Having foreseen the logistical challenges before the tour started Diversified Exposition Services was able to offer start-to-finish services including vehicle specification and tour management.

By using a custom trailer with the mechanical abilities to quickly load and unload the mock-up and hiring a highly experienced tour operator, the tour was able to increase the number of shows per week. This greatly expanded the scope of the tour and increased Diamond’s sales beyond their original goals.
