Thinking LOUD Out Led Zeppelin - Now Appearing in Baked Goods! Last week, while prowling through fresh produce at the grocery, I noticed that a Moody Blues tune was playing on the store’s PA system — and by the time I rounded the bend into snack foods, it was Mick Jagger and Goodbye Ruby Tuesday. Well, anxious as I was to finish up and get home, I found myself slowing down — yes, slowing down — somewhere between paper goods and toiletries to enjoy a little Crosby, Stills, and Nash, some vintage Clapton, and an old favorite by Janis Joplin. When I finally did get to the check out counter, I was actually singing, and that’s when it occurred to me that if the music of my youth was now the Muzak of my supermarket, then life was destined to become one long rock concert — minus some of the bass and most of the decibels. At least, it would be for me! I wonder who’s playing in canned goods next week…
