FOOD, FAMILY, GOOD TIMES? HOLIDAY SEASON IS HERE!

Everyone knows the best time to help others is during the holidays. For the next couple months, let’s not only enjoy the days off but also make sure to serve. Hello Division 64 and friends! I can’t even make an excuse for me putting Key Club on the backburner for the last two months. I’m extremely sorry that I’ve been MIA, but I’m back and ready to

DCON 2013 District Convention 2013 will be held from March 22-24 at Doubletree Hotel near the Sea-Tac airport. Remember, I’m making it manditory for all officers to attend! If you have any concerns about this, PLEASE message me ASAP and we’ll discuss :)

DUES

AWARDS

Why am I pushing for everyone to get dues in ASAP? Because if we don’t get in our dues for awhile, we could be put in the OVERFLOW ROOM at DCON, which means that we won’t be in the main convention room, we’ll be in a small room on the other end of the hall, watching the convention from a screen. THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN TO US. so please make sure to get your dues in as soon as possible!

There are a ton of awards you can nominate your club, officers, members, and faulty advisors for! It’ll be an awesome experience to be recognized by over 1600 high schoolers from around the Pacific Northwest! Attached is Section C of the Call to Convention.Make sure to look this over with your officers and appy appy apply!

Call to Convention Video THIS IS THE OFFICIAL PROMO VIDEO FOR DCON 2013! PLEASE POST THIS ON YOUR FACEBOOK WALLS SO ALL YOUR MEMBERS CAN SEE! ALSO, WATCH IT IN HD! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXebkS95t5g

FINAL THINGS... November DCM

Key Clubber of the month

DCON 2013

We’ll be having our November DCM on Saturday, November 17 at 4:00 pm. We’ll first be having our meeting and then we’ll volunteer at the Blanchet Hoouse- a soup kitchen in downtown Portland! Make sure to RSVP on facebook and invite your members!

Do you have a Key Clubber in your home club that is deserving of a spotlight in the next newsletter? Let me know about it and why they’re so deserving! They’ll get a section in a newsletter and the prestigious title of “KCer of the Month!”

District Convention 2013 is coming up, which means that everyone needs to start fundraising! The price is around 150-200 for everyone, but Kiwanis are usually willing to help pay! Also, this pays for your meals and your housing at a hotel. Make sure you check out the video!

Whoever emails back the answers to these riddles first will get a prize at the next DCM!

It cannot be seen, it weighs nothing, but when put into a barrel, it makes it lighter. What is it?

HURRY! EMAIL ME BACK!

You saw me where I never was and where I could not be. And yet within that very place, my face you often see. What am I?
