Joe Adams

For the past 30 years, Discovery Science Center has been impacting the lives of children through hands-on science education. But, our reach goes far beyond that of a traditional science center though, as we have the 3rd largest education outreach program in the nation reaching over 200,000 students every year.

At our foundation lies our core initiatives – four touchstones of learning that guide us as we help prepare the next generation of teachers and students. From early-childhood education to STEM proficiency, environmental stewardship to healthy living, these initiatives go to the heart of our mission as a hub of education, inspiration, and transformation. Currently, California students rank a shocking in 47th in science proficiency out of 50 states. There is more work to be done and our education programs are designed to help students improve in the classroom and better understand the Next Generation of Science Standards. On the pages of this CUBE Education Brochure, you will be introduced to all of the programs we offer for K-8 students. From physics lessons to field trips at the science center, dissections to free environmental programs, we offer a wide range of possibilities for your students to become engaged and learn. We invite you to call one of our booking specialists today. Together, we are building a bright future for our children an inspiring the next generation of innovators.
