The National Centre for Birds of Prey is the largest collection of these wonderful birds in the North of England. A vast collection of owls, eagles, vultures, hawks, falcons and more are housed in spacious aviaries set within ancient oak woodland and rolling parkland.


We are winners of White Rose awards for best small attractions and the sustainable tourism award. Our trained team of flying birds fly free for our visitors three times a day.
Different birds are flown on each demo. Please allow 2 to 3 hours - we are a big place! Picnickers are welcome - or the Owl House Cafe serves a selection of hot and cold snacks and meals.
Access into the surrounding 300 acres of parkland is included and the parking is free. Located just 2 minutes drive (or 12 minutes walk) from the centre of Helmsley.
