Ricardoes Tomatoes & Strawberries Farm Ricardoes Tomatoes & Strawberries Farm is our most awarded tourist attraction, located on a sealed country road about 10 minutes from town. At the roundabout on the highway 3km north of the Hastings River Bridge take the Blackmans Point exit (it heads east, in the direction of the coast) and follow our signs. Ricardoes offers a fun family-friendly strawberry-picking experience: thousands of sweet juicy berries flourish on dozens of rows of vertical lattice frames. Wander fragrant avenues and choose your own harvest; pay only for what you pick. No bending: littlies have berries right at arm’s reach, adults and seniors too. Free entry from 7am weekdays, 8am weekends, under cover of tall greenhouse canopies in case of wind or rain. Fascinating free guided farm tours at 11am weekdays with walks and talks via towering Jack & the Beanstalk tomato vines. No booking needed, just turn up! Virtual tours all day every day. Billabong Zoo: Koala + Wildlife Park At the award-winning Billabong Zoo, Port Macquarie, NSW you can get up-close and personal to Australian and Exotic animals. Open every day 9am - 5pm. You can pat, stroke, feed, hold, hear and see over 80 species of animals, reptiles and birds. They care for over 220 animals in this friendly 10 acre Koala and Wildlife Park. Timbertown Step back in time with a day out at Timbertown, one of Australia’s best heritage theme parks, just 20 minutes west of Port Macquarie.
