August 2019 1st Junior Book Club at March Library, 10.30am-11.30 am. Come along and discuss the book you read last month and then choose your next one. New members always welcome. For children aged four years and above. Free. 1st Maths Club at March Library, 10.30am-11.30am. Every Thursday throughout the holidays (same time). Community ambassadors from 20Twenty Productions will be here to run a drop-in Maths club with lots of number fun, board games, activities, worksheets and more. Suitable for children aged four and above, no need to book 1st Theatre Makers at March Library, 5pm-6.30pm. In conjunction with 20Twenty community ambassadors. Ongoing for six weeks (Thursdays at the same time). For children aged eight years and above. £10 for the six weeks. Speak to library staff to book a place. 2nd The Ivy Leaf Club presents family night in the bar from 6pm, bingo, Karaoke and then cabaret with ‘THE DUO’ at 9pm. Non-members welcome, but to pay £1 at the bar (per adult). 5th Animal Experience at March Library, 10.30am11.30am. Come and learn about the animals and get a chance to hold them. For children aged three and above. £3 per child. Places are limited so please book with library staff in advance. 7th Junior Craft Club at March Library, 10.30am-12pm. Come along and join in with some crafts. Open to all ages. £1 per child. 7th Stop Start Animation Workshop, 2.30pm-4pm at March Library. In conjunction with 20Twenty community ambassadors. For ages eight and above. £2.50 per child. Speak to library staff to book a place.

19th Abra-star-dabra Magic Show at March Library, 10.30am-11.30am. For children aged three and above. £3 per child. Speak to library staff to book a place. 19th Open Mic Night at The Sportsman, Chatteris from 7.30pm. The only live-streamed open mic around here! 23rd Mad Hatter's Tea Party at Peckover House, Wisbech. Come to our Alice in Wonderland Tea Party in the garden and join in the themed games. Create a mad hat for this event, with a prize for the best hat. Adult £18, child £12. Booking essential. 24th Open Day at Lattersey Local Nature Reserve from 11am-3pm. Open to all. Guided walks, wildlife trails, craft activities, refreshments, displays and more. 2pm guided walk around this Fenland reserve in late summer with Peter Kirby and Sarah Lambert. Meet in the reserve car park. Whether you ride a motorbike or bicycle, Phil's ride will be raising money for the East Anglia Air Ambulance. The event is open to all who want to ride. Simply turn up on two wheels, pop your donation in the bucket and ride. Starting at The Old White Bell, Southery. Meeting at 11am. Music from 5pm. BBQ and more. 28th The Ivy Leaf Club presents Quiz Night in the bar; six persons per team, £2 each to enter, plus a raffle and if you’re hungry it’s also curry night!

30th-1st Sept The Ivy Leaf Club presents a weekend of fun and games to include Friday – Race Night, Saturday – ‘HOTWIRED’ band and lots more advertised at the club.

31st Coffee Morning at March Library, 10.30am-12pm. Friends of March Library invite you to their coffee morning. Refreshments and prize raffle. Everyone welcome. 31st St. Wendreda's Church Open Tower and Open House event. Church Street, March PE15 9PY. Come and climb the church tower, admire the views over March, try bell ringing and check out our angels. 11am-3pm. Adults £3.50, under 12s £1.50. Admission includes either a hot or cold drink. Bring your teddy for a zip-line experience! Stalls, music, church history talks. All welcome.

Regular Local Events Mondays March Silver Circle is an over 50s club which meets at the March United Services Club, every Monday afternoon, playing various games and various other activities.
