UFO P a s s e s Over Car and Lands i n Corn F i e l d . B u r l i n p t o n , Colo. and Mrs. Ron Ludwig and c h i l d r e n were i n t h e i r c a r on U. S. Hi'ghway S e p t . 13, when a n u n i d e n t i f i e d o b j e c t passed d i r e c t l y o v e r t h e i r c a r , l a n d e d i n a f i e l d , t o o k o f f and made a second l a n d i n g . Hrs. Ludwig f i r s t n o t i c e d a n oval-shaped o b j e c t f l y i n g p a r a l l e l t o t h e c a r and f i r s t t h o u g h t it must b e t h e r e f l e c t i o n o f t h e c a r h e a d l i g h t s on t h e t e l e p h o n e l i n e 8 a s it appeared a s "a dim l i g h t t r o r " t h e moon w i t h a shadow o v e r it." But a s t h e y t u r n e d a c o r n e r , t h e o b j e c t p a s s e d d i r e c t l y o v e r them and l a n d e d i n a f i e l d . Almost a t once it s h o t back i n t o t h e s k y and "got r e a l b r i g h t , " Mrs. Ludwig s a i d . The o b j e c t t h e n made a secorrj. l t n d i n g i n a n o t h e r f i e l d "and lit up t h e f i e l d . I t h r s . Ludwig s a i d , "It was round and it was b i g and l o o k e d l i k e r a y s were coming o u t of it." The f a m i l y reached t h e i r home--the Delmar Zweygardt f a r m where M r . Ludwig is employed--and were s o f r i g h t e n e d " t h e i r knees were knocking t o g e t h e r . UFO Landing H e ~ o r t e di n Alaska The most r e c e n t p h y s i c a l t r a c e r e p o r t comes from S t . Michael, Alaska. On t h e n i g h t of August 16, 1972 S g t . John Cheemuk, an Eskimo s c o u t and h i s wife saw a f o o t b a l l - s h a p e d o b j e c t t r a v e l i n g s l o w e r t h a n a c o n v e n t i o n a l a i r c r a f t . l h e saw a c o c k p i t , - a l a r g e window and r e d l i g h t s a t t h e f r o n t and r e a r . The o b j e c t landed and t o o k o f f f i v e minutes l a t e r . An army c a p t a i n i n v e s t i g a t e d and found a d e p r e s s i o n 3 f e e t i n d i a m e t e r and 2 i n c h e s d e e p a t t h e l a n d i n g s i t e . Burned g r a s s found a t t h e bottom of t h e d e p r e s s i o n was sampled and a n a l y s i s i s b e i n g done by t h e Army Corps of Engineers. T h i s r e p o r t was s e n t t o Ted P h i l l i p s by G i l B e r n i e r and M r . It was 9:30 and t h e f a m i l y was watching t e l e v i s i o n . Tom n o t i c e d a h i g h p i t c h e d whine from o u t e i d e , and went o u t t o s e e what it was. A l a r g e orange egg-shaped o b j e c t came o u t of t h e e a s t , came a c r o s s i n f r o n t of Tom, dropped s e v e r a l f e e t , t h e n r e t u r n e d t o a g a i n c r o s s i n f r o n t of t h e boy b e f o r e r i s i n g t o i t s former l e v e l and moving away t o t h e e a s t and d i s a p p e a r i n g over t h e horizon. Tom d e s c r i b e d t h e o b j e c t a s l a r g e a s a n a d d i t i o n added t o t h e i r home ( t h e a d d i t i o n measuasr i n g 1 x 20 f e e t ) . It was a c l e a r , calm moonlit n i g h t . Another member of t h e f a m i l y came o u t i n time t o c a t c h a g l i m p s e of t h e o b j e c t , and a t h i r d member was t o o l a t e a s she had remained i n d o o r s t o t r y t o calm t h e dog which was v e r y e x c i t e d . The f a m i l y remembered t h e TV p i c t u r e became "snowyw when t h e o b j e c t passed over. F i v e minutes a f t e r t h e s i g h t i n g , Tom's eyes began t o s w e l l and h i s e a r s ached. The f a m i l y p h y s i c i a n was c o n s u l t e d t h e n e x t day. The o b j e c t which 'om s a i d was " a s b r i g h t a s t h e s u n n was observed f o r about a minute and a h a l f .

June 19, 1972. A t t h i s d a t e a t about 10:25 p.m. a phone c a l l was r e c e i v e d from t h e Greensburg S t a t e P o l i c e s t a t i n g a r e p o r t had j u s t been r e c e i v e d of a UFO s i g h t i n g on a d a i r y farm i n an i s o l a t e d a r e a s e v e r a l m i l e s o f f t h e main road. Cordon and s e v e r a l from h i s group went t o t h e f a r m immediately and found Mr. and Mrs. X and t h e i r c h i l d r e n immediately s a y i n g t h a t t h e y had s e e n t h e UFO a g a i n j u s t a s h o r t t i m e p r i o r t o t h e i r a r r i v a l and a s k i n g i f anyone e l s e had r e p o r t e d s e e i n g t h e l i g h t . They r e p o r t e d t h e f o l l o w i n g : t h e y were j u s t f i n i s h i n g t h e i r c h o r e s about 9:50 p.m. when a l l af a sudden above a s h e d , a b r i g h t w h i t e beam of c o n c e n t r a t e d l i g h t appeared. The l i g h t d i d n o t move, s h i n i n g d i r e c t l y down t h e r i g h t s i d e o f a s i l o r o o f . The l i g h t was v e r y low above t h e t r e e s and seemed t o be s l o w l y descending. A t 10:30 p.m. t h e t e a c h e r n o t i c e d a b r i g h t o b j e c t above Chestnut Mountain Ridge o u t s i d e of Derry, Pa. The o b j e c t was a b r i g h t yellow i n c o l o r and was round. The w i t n e s s , who i s f a m i l i a r w i t h t h e sky p a t t e r n , s t a t e d t h e o b j e c t was nany t i m e s t h e s i z e of Vanue. The o b j e c t moved v e r y s l o w l y from e a s t t o w e s t and t h e n would move back over i t s c o u r s e . A f t e r watching i t f o r 15 m i n u t e s , t h e t e a c h e r went i n d o o r s t o g e t h i s b i n o c u l a r s . When h e r e t u r n e d , t h e o b j e c t had d i s a p p e a r e d . May 11, 1972. A woman was awakened a t 5:05 a.m. a t h e r r e s i d e n c e i n T r e e s M i l l s by an e x p l o s i o n t h a t shook t h e f o u n d a t i o n of h e r house as w e l l a s t h e bed s h e was s l e e p i n g i n . Her bed w s a t a n a n g l e i n which s h e could s e e d i r e c t l y out a nearby window, and s h e saw a b r i g h t , w h i t e o v a l shaped o b j e c t about t h e s i z e of a Volkswagen h o v e r i n g about t e n f e e t above h e r n e i g h b o r ' s house. The whole a r e a was lit up and t h e b i r d s were chirping loudly.

May 26, 1972. The c o n t r o l c e n t e r r e c e i v e d a c a l l a t 1 : 3 0 a.m. from a woman who was o b v i o u s l y h y s t e r i c a l . O u r own Milky Way g a l a x y i s about h a l f t h e s i z e of M - 3 1 i n comparison.
