Battery status With the camera switched on, battery status is monitored automatically. The following display appears:
» for full or sufficient capacity , » for partial discharge , » blinking for very low capacity (sufficient only for a few additional shots).

When the display reads “CHArGE“, the camera will switch off. If possible, keep a fully charged spare battery ready. It is advisable to recharge the battery as soon as the icon starts blinking, above all at low temperatures. Use of the external battery connector – which allows the battery to be carried close to your body – also is very helpful at low ambient temperatures.
