Dimasa Grupo was founded in 1986 with the aim to produce plastic and polyester components for the industrial sector. 30 years later Dimasa Grupo has become the leading company in the sector of the Glass-Fiber Reinforced Polyester (GRP) tanks and equipment. Due to the founders commitment for environment preservation over more than two decades and thanks to specialized engineers incorporation, Dimasa Grupo has become a leading specialists in the treatment of Water and Waste, Biogas and Energy Valorization. Dimasa Grupo human team commitment for the pursuit of excellence and professionalism has enabled them to design a last generation leachate treatment technology and a biogas cleaning process which reports greats results with an operating cost reduction for our costumers Dimasa Grupo performs all its projects under the "turnkey" concept: feasibility study, design, manufacture, delivery, implementation and after-sales maintenance. Currently, the group has a dedicated division exclusively to the treatment of effluents, Dim Water Solutions, and a productive branch in Mexico, Dimamex.

Dimasa Grupo has modern facilities in Mexico, where we have a production plant in Puebla under the name of Dimamex. From this production center, we manufacture and export our products for the entire Latin American and American Market. All our tanks comply with the regulations ASME RPT1 and UNE-13121, so that the tanks of DIMAMEX, GRUPO DIAZ MARTIN MEXICO SA DE CV, can be manufactured and distributed all over the world. In recent years, our company has stood out for its contribution in the construction of the Wastewater Treatment Plant of Atotonilco (Mexico), one of the largest in the world, and thanks to the engineering and equipment of Dimamex in the treatment of Biogas, manages to self-supply with 70% of electricity. That is why the PTAR was awarded by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) with the Infrastructure 360ยบ Prize.

Dim Water Solutions directs its activity to the development and application of technologies for the treatment of waters and biogas. The group is based on research, development and technological innovation (R+D+i). Dimasa Grupo engineers designed the plants minimizing energy consumption and maintenance. Decontamination of soils and waters contaminated by hydrocarbons requires a specific technology for each case, depending on whether it is an aquifer or a soil washing.

We manufacture portable installations presented in shipping container format featuring a lightweight, compact, rigid and robust structure. Besides the design in this format to have a maximum capacity modulation. To be composed of modules do not require civil works and operation and installation are very simple. Treatment of leachates Novel system for the purification of contaminated water Dimasa Grupo has created special modules to treat leachate and purify contaminated water, based on the premise of the use of open channel modules for such treatment. Rotating Sieve

Filtration system for solid-liquid separation of waste water

The rotating sieve are equipment for the filtration or sieving of waste water and liquids in general in order to perform a solid-liquid separation. By its conception, it is a device of self-cleaning operation, capable of operating for long periods of time without needing attention.

Aplications: They are ideal for pretreatment of waste water: high-fat food sector (dairy, slaughterhouse, fishery, warehouses...), paper and plastic industry, primary treatment replacing the primary decanter...

How works a rotating sieve? 1. The liquid to be filtered enters the rotating sieve through the inlet pipe and is evenly distributed along the entire filter cylinder which rotates at low speed. 2. The solid particles are retained on the surface of the same and are led to the scraper, which is responsible for separating and depositing them on a inclined tray for gravity fall. 3. The liquid passes through the cracks of the filter cylinder and is drawn towards the outlet located at the rear.

The solutions of polyelectrolyte are polymers that possess electrolytic groups, which favors the processes of separation between the solid and liquid phases. Elements of our equipment:

The dilution water reaches the tank through the automated collector. The polyelectrolyte stored in the dispenser hopper is extracted and discharged onto the dispersion cone of a water nozzle. The mixture falls by gravity into the first compartment and passes through siphons to the second and third. The control and control panel is responsible for operating the entire system automatically, ensuring correct dosing and preparation.

Float by Cavitation

Equipment for the Physical-Chemical treatment by flotation (DW CAF)

The DW CAF Float by Cavitation is an equipment designed for the separation of fats, suspended solids and colloids from urban and industrial wastewater. Its design features give it a high performance, being a team able to operate for long periods of time without needing attention, with total autonomy. Applications: It is indicated for use in urban and industrial wastewater treatment plants such as slaughterhouses, canning plants, pre-cooked dishes, dairies, cheese factories, or any type of agri-food industry where there is presence of fats, suspended solids and colloids.

How works a DW CAF? The system is based on the injection of micro bubbles of air to the waste water stream to be treated, by means of a submersible turbine. The waste water enters from below and is led to a central conduit where the turbine is housed, the suspended solids adhere to the micro bubbles, and are raised to the surface where a surface sweep system separates them. Heavier solids decant in the conical bottom and are extracted by a lower purge. The treated water passes through a siphon system and leaves the top through an adjustable dump to choose the working height, adapting to the type of solid and quantity to be separated.

The design and the raw materials used in the tank manufacturing process provide easy cleaning, high durability, zero maintenance and easy repair to mechanical breakdown. The Fiber-Glass Reinforced Polyester is a good thermal and electrical insulator, but also the tanks are lightweight and easily transportable. Depending on the product to contain, the concentration, and temperature, we use the most appropriate materials for each application. To calculate thickness of the tank, we consider: volume, product density, earthquake, wind, snow, live causes, external causes and product temperature.

Dimasa Grupo manufactures pressure sand filters in fiberglass polyester reinforced. They are designed to operate at pressures up to 10 bar, which are ideal for those processes requiring a pretreatment filtration. Another important factor of polyester fiberglass reinforced is the high temperatures resistance, both high and low (-30 to + 120 °C) and low weight. GRP pressurized filters of Dimasa Grupo are the better option for the treatment of salt and brackish water in desalination and purification process. The secret of success of our filters is to combine and give coherence to the various fabrics and materials existing on the market, which used accurately, allow us obtain a greater resistance to chemical and mechanical level.

Covering in GRP

Fully customized top closure structures

Dimasa Grupo designs, manufactures and installs self-supporting cylindrical and rectangular modular coverings for tanks, decanters, digesters and sludge thickeners, whether or not fitted with a gangway or central pillar. Coverings of this type are used in areas of water purification, desalination plants and areas where the corrosive environment is predominant.

Procedure and manufacturing materials WATERPROOF BARRIER: also called anticorrosive barrier, because it is directly exposed to the medium. This layer has a higher resin content (around 70% by weight). STRUCTURAL LAMINATION: in the case of the bottoms, we use the hand lay up procedure, and in the case of the ferrules, continuous winding, applying fiberglass helices in roving format by mechanical means.

Biogas Upgrading Plants

Processing plant from Biogas to Biomethane Dimasa Grupo provides a special technology of CARBOTECH that allows purification of biogas to transform it into biomethane. Biomethane gas is an attractive alternative to fossil fuels. Its production is environmentally responsible, efficient and renewable. It can be mixed with natural gas and injected into the conventional gas pipeline.
