In the last years we have designed a process of treatment of leachates and one of cleaning of biogas of last generation that allow to reduce the costs of exploitation of the client. This biogas treatment system has been awarded with the TecnoenergĂ­a 2012 Award for the best technological product and the Cambra 2015 Innovation Award.

Upgrading existent facilities to Dimasa MBR, we fulfill increase the capacity by three times. By implementing our immersed flat membranes modules, it is managed to triplicate the capacity of the existing treatment facilities. MBR increase the treatment capacity without any requirement of space.

Dim Water Solutions engineers designed the plants minimizing energy consumption and maintenance. Decontamination of soils and waters contaminated by hydrocarbons requires a specific technology for each case, depending on whether it is an aquifer or a soil washing.

We manufacture portable installations presented in shipping container format featuring a lightweight, compact, rigid and robust structure. Besides the design in this format to have a maximum capacity modulation. To be composed of modules do not require civil works and operation and installation are very simple. They are fully automatic equipment that does not require the presence of personnel.

Novel system for the purification of contaminated water

Dim Water Solutions has created special modules to treat leachate and purify contaminated water, based on the premise of the use of open channel modules for said treatment. The latest generation modules of Dim Water Solutions are designed for application in the field of polluted water, paying special attention to landfill leachates due to their special characteristics. Its design has been a task of many years of research since conventional membrane technologies, due to their configuration, prevented the use of the osmosis technique with such a charged liquid.

Rotating Sieve

Filtration system for solid-liquid separation of waste water

The rotating sieve are equipment for the filtration or sieving of waste water and liquids in general in order to perform a solid-liquid separation. By its conception, it is a device of self-cleaning operation, capable of operating for long periods of time without needing attention.

Aplications: They are ideal for pretreatment of waste water: high-fat food sector (dairy, slaughterhouse, fishery, warehouses...), paper and plastic industry, primary treatment replacing the primary decanter...

How works a rotating sieve? 1. The liquid to be filtered enters the rotating sieve through the inlet pipe and is evenly distributed along the entire filter cylinder which rotates at low speed. 2. The solid particles are retained on the surface of the same and are led to the scraper, which is responsible for separating and depositing them on a inclined tray for gravity fall. 3. The liquid passes through the cracks of the filter cylinder and is drawn towards the outlet located at the rear.

Elements of a rotating Sieve:  Filter cylinder made of AISI 304 stainless steel.  Body made of AISI 304 stainless steel.  Cleaning scraper in brass.  Internal cleaning system using pressurized water.  Reducer motor of great robustness and free of maintenance.  Optionally, with an overflow piece.

Equipment for the preparation of the solution from powder, emulsion or dual

The solutions of polyelectrolyte are polymers that possess electrolytic groups, which favors the processes of separation between the solid and liquid phases. To optimize its use, Dim Water Solutions offers different systems intended for automatic and continuous preparation. The advantages of these equipments are: considerable saving of polymer, precision in the preparation and dosing optimizing the treatments, and space saving and centralization of the installation. Elements of our equipment:

The dilution water reaches the tank through the automated collector. The polyelectrolyte stored in the dispenser hopper is extracted and discharged onto the dispersion cone of a water nozzle. The mixture falls by gravity into the first compartment and passes through siphons to the second and third. The control and control panel is responsible for operating the entire system automatically, ensuring correct dosing and preparation.

For the emulsion of polyelectrolyte we use a pump designed specially for liquids with viscosity of up to 8,000 Cps in standard version and up to 50,000 Cps on request.

Float by Cavitation

Equipment for the Physical-Chemical treatment by flotation (DW CAF)

The DW CAF Float by Cavitation is an equipment designed for the separation of fats, suspended solids and colloids from urban and industrial wastewater. Its design features give it a high performance, being a team able to operate for long periods of time without needing attention, with total autonomy. Applications: It is indicated for use in urban and industrial wastewater treatment plants such as slaughterhouses, canning plants, pre-cooked dishes, dairies, cheese factories, or any type of agri-food industry where there is presence of fats, suspended solids and colloids.

How works a DW CAF? The system is based on the injection of micro bubbles of air to the waste water stream to be treated, by means of a submersible turbine. The waste water enters from below and is led to a central conduit where the turbine is housed, the suspended solids adhere to the micro bubbles, and are raised to the surface where a surface sweep system separates them. Heavier solids decant in the conical bottom and are extracted by a lower purge. The treated water passes through a siphon system and leaves the top through an adjustable dump to choose the working height, adapting to the type of solid and quantity to be separated.

Elements of a Float by Cavitation:  Tank body in stainless steel AISI 304.  Superior structure in stainless steel profiles for fastening the surface sweeping system.  Double arm surface sweeping system.  Built-in speed variator to regulate the optimum speed of sweeping, and adapt it to each installation.  Turbine generator of special design for micro bubbles.


Biogas Upgrading Plants

Processing plant from Biogas to Biomethane Dim Water Solutions provides a special technology that allows purification of biogas to transform it into biomethane. Biomethane gas is an attractive alternative to fossil fuels. Its production is environmentally responsible, efficient and renewable. It can be mixed with natural gas and injected into the conventional gas pipeline.

Benefits - The pressure swing adsorption (PSA) process is a dry biogasupgrading process with low operational costs: No process water, no process water conditioning; no waste water, no waste water treatment; no chemicals and no off gas with toxic contaminants - Mobile units for easy transport and installation, reducing maintenance. - Mount modules (container) -Quick installation and commissioning.

Integrating this technology increases the yield of Methane and improves the overall efficiency of the plants. And obtain quality biomethane gas for a automotive or injection to the natural gas network.


Biogas: cleaning and conditioning Reduce operational expenses on biogas treatment plant

Dim Water Solutions Biogas Cleaning guarantees the reduction of harmful components for engines and the environment (steam, solid particles, H2S, siloxanes and VOCs). BIOGAS CLEANING SYSTEM: LEPANTO LANDFILL

I work for Finning, a company belonging to the powerful industrial group Caterpillar, a Biogas Cleaning unit for the landfill of Lepanto, very close to Santiago de Chile. This is a necessary process to transform the biogas generated in a landfill into a biofuel suitable for combustion engines, which allows us to take advantage of energy resources and take care of the environment.


BIOGAS CLEANING SYSTEM: LEPANTO LANDFILL

This technological solution stands out for being fully integrated in a 40-foot container, which allows it to be easily transportable by sea shipping. One of its characteristics

is

that,

to

increase

security, the electric control part and the treatment equipment part are separated. It guarantees a treatment capacity of 1,000 NmÂł/h, which generates 2 MW/h of electrical power.


BIOGAS CLEANING SYSTEM: ATOTONILCO WWTP

One of the largest references in the sector Our biogas cleaning system, with a capacity of 14,000 Nm3/h, is key to the efficiency of the largest treatment plant in the world, the Atotonilco WWTP in Mexico, according to the Inter-American Development Bank. A recognition of our model of excellence in sustainability practices.


BIOGAS CLEANING SYSTEM: ATOTONILCO WWTP System composed of the following stages:

COMPLEX WATER TREATMENT: RECASA

One of his last works highlighted in the line of complex waters has been for Recuperaciones Ecológicas Castellanas (RECASA), a company of Toledo that is dedicated to treating wastewater from various industries. The system that RECASA had operating in its facilities could not comply with the dumping parameters set by the current regulations, which are increasingly restrictive in order to protect the environment. That is why Dim Water Solutions has supplied a system that improves the quality of the resulting water. It is a unit of nano-filtration and reverse osmosis, with a capacity of 240 m³/day, and with the option of extending to 500 m³/day if necessary.


COMPLEX WATER TREATMENT: RECASA This solution, fully integrated in a container to facilitate its mobility, has a pre-treatment of filtration by sand and cartridges, to then move to a phase of SPM membranes. These modules are exclusively designed by Dim Water Solutions, and have a long and successful journey in the field of complex water treatment and leachate.
